I love this place— worth the 90-minute drive from Indiana! As others have noted, the store is not that big, and the prices are very high (the prepared foods are 2-3 times as expensive as those at Samarkand Market, 5 minutes away, which I visited on the same day). But the service is lovely and friendly. Baked goods and salads are both excellent and taste authentic. I will come back for sure.
This is a good place to go and get all your Baltic food supplies. It's not affiliated with Russia anymore. Seriously I doubt it ever was. Plus a hot looking tennis girl goes there.
My mom and I went to another Russian store near by and we’re not greeted or asked if we needed anything, basically not sold to at all which is disappointing. However when we made it here we were greeted and engaged by the lovely woman behind the counter. She kept asking us what else we need and we kept going to the tune of more then $100. That’s what I’m talking about :)! Food we bought was great, fresh, tasty, and service was excellent!
