Place is really cool, not what I expected at first for a latin restaurant though.Unfortunately they were out of caipirinhas. The coxinha is pretty good, not the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend the yuca fries!

The food had good flavor. We have the San Juan bowl and the Puerto Rican burger. Also, had the tostones of pana loaded and a side of empanada. My issue was the bowl, the plantain was burned and made the bowl taste weird. The price is a little bit high for the food but I understand that paying rent, electricity, employees and products, but they should reconsider if want to maintain retuning customers.

Came here for a quick lunch yesterday and was so impressed! My husband is Brazilian and it can be very hard to find authentic cuisine in Cincinnati. I had coxinha, mousse do maracujá (passion fruit mousse), and goiabada e queijo brigadeiros (guava and cheese brigadeiros). I could not believe how good everything was! They also serve Guaraná and Brahma beer!I quickly realized two of the men working are Brazilian and I had a great time talking with them.Looking forward to bringing my husband back soon!Obrigada!

I always go to mash roots in element eatery but can't find them to leave this review so I'm leaving it here. The Old San Juan is always my go-to along with the tostones both tonight were very bad. The plantain in my Old San Juan was dry granular and unfortunately tasteless. And the tostones were some sort of an end cut of the breadfruit because each one on one side had what looked like a leather cover on it and was dry and mushy instead of crispy and fresh. Perhaps coming in at 6 pm on Sunday was why I got old dried-out food but it was definitely a waste of my money this evening. Tonight's experience won't deter my return however quality-control definitely needs to improve because this food should never have been served the way it was.

We tried Mash Roots catering for a 20 person lunch and it was AMAZING. All of the flavors and options were incredible, we all look forward to trying it again. The food was ready on time and the team was great to work with. This is an amazing option for the price/value and there are so many ways to DIY your bowl...perfect for large groups. You will love it.Vegetarian options: Tons of great options that you can find on the menu, very vegetarian-friendly.Dietary restrictions: I emailed the restaurant with questions about gluten free options and they were so responsive and helpful.

We were shopping at Fern's right down the street and decided this looked like something different. I'm so happy we stopped in. My wife built her own bowl, allowing her to avoid food sensitivities, and I went with the copacabana. We were both very satisfied with our bowls. Super flavorful and filling. Well worth a try. We will definitely be back.

It was good! It's kind of a strange food so I took a cross section picture. This is the whodey bowl, mashed sweet potatoes on bottom, really tender chicken next, slaw and sauces on top. Store was clean and not packed, we were able to have a working lunch in there.

Highly recommend the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries. Simple. Fresh. Delicious. And great indoor and outdoor seating options.Parking: Easy

Very good. They have a lot of latin dishes options. The taste of everything I tried was so good. The fried plantains were delicious. They also have Latin American sodas which is very nice. I loved to drink Guaraná from Brazil!!!

Wow. Loved everything we got. Anywhere from a Cuba Libre, the raspberry chocolate and also the mint Coquitos, the Pollo sandwich and the Puerto Rican Mofongo bowls...mmm.The service was great and the restaurant is clean and open. It's definitely my favorite place in College Hill.

I went on Brazilian Carnival night so it was very crowded. Great atmosphere. I haven’t tried their regular menu, they had a special Brazilian event menu. Pretty good food, good service. See my video review!

Was not aware of this restaurant and went only because I wanted to check them out for 'Halfway to Burger week'. People are friendly, service was good, food was fine and very fairly priced. I would likely go back for perhaps some more authentic options...Very clean look to the restaurant.....From speaking with the server, it sounded like Burger week attracted a lot of visitors to this venue. That's good to know, because I love these kind of promotionsParking: I used a on street, because I got their early, but I think they might have parking in the rear as well

Great food and service. Was very fast and being able to get desert to go was nice. They were able to accommodate the wife's dietary requests and were able to quickly explain any menu questions that we had.

Delicious burgers! The inside is very cute - murals on the walls, good natural light, and beautiful molding on the ceiling. The owner is so friendly. There has clearly been a lot of thought out into this place!

This was very good food, unlike the normal food you find in most places in this region, like SW Ohio, or OH, KY, IN in general. I was expecting something slightly different, like a slightly higher quality of food, like a sit down type restaurant. This was more of a semi-fast food place. Let's call it medium fast. The important thing to jeep in mind is that the food was very good. It is food you won't find elsewhere in the region, or it will be hard to find. They had an outstanding selection of beer from the Carribean, Central and South America.
