The internet information about this restaurant is at least 2 years old. The menu is just substandard lunch and nothing to write home about. Service was ok (Tenisha)but nothing was done about several issues where items were sub standard that to what was printed and purported on the menu… and our bill was 112$. No manager ever came out to the table.

Maverick burger was delivered in a slider size, truffle aioli on over salted crispy potatoes was tarter sauce, ordered a salad and got French fries, $17 pulled pork nachos were served in a bowl (Um, no, a plate with layers of items so you get delish in every bite), with the bottom of the bag crumbs and very little toppings.

Earlier we were came from the Joe Burrow tailgate where we had lovely culinary treats. We happen to be from a very diverse Athens Ohio foodie scene. We have expectations that the food we’re pay top dollar for lives up to the descriptions and the hype on the internet reviews. Mavericks was disappointing at best, over priced and under performing. Won’t be back!

Had very inappropriate experience at this bar on 11.29.24 at 6:20pm. If the male bartender is working there definitely will have to keep record of the bad customer service and discrimination I experienced. Yes I'm available to explain a better way to handle the cause of experience I'll be happy to.

We made arraignments with the hotel's sales staff to have Maverick's Restobar & Lounge kept open until 2 AM so that our guests had somewhere to go after our wedding. The atmosphere was great, the space is very attractive and comfortable for hanging out. Unfortunately we did not get the stellar service others have raved about, we actually got quite the opposite. Our bartenders were very slow and not friendly at all. The male bartender that was working that evening was quite gruff with guests, and was bordering on being outright rude. It was especially frustrating that the bartenders decided they wanted to close at 12:30 AM instead of the agreed upon 2:00 AM. Drink prices were high, which is expected at a hotel bar. It may be a decent option for a hotel guest looking for somewhere to pass some time, but I wouldn't recommend this establishment for an event.

This place is amazing! Clean classy atmosphere. The best spinach artichoke dip I've ever had! The bartender, Chris is SO good at his job too! He really cares about every patron who visits. He's funny, charming, and knows all the hot spots around Cincinnati! His drinks are spot on too!

I had an incredible experience with Chris behind the bar! From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the evening enjoyable. He knows his craft—each cocktail was expertly made, and he even took the time to recommend some great drinks based on my preferences. His energy was upbeat and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's definitely the kind of bartender that makes you want to come back again and again! Highly recommend! Can't wait to return for my next company training! Thank you again!

Great place for an end of night drink. The bartender was really on it and he gave us lots of recommendations for things we might like. The vibe was also really casual and beautiful. Made a great time and this is the place that we would go back to if we had to come back to Cincinnati.
