My husband and I spent some time here for some great drinks before a reservation we had at a different location. The old fashioned was incredible and the atmosphere was great! But most of all, the bartender we had was incredibly kind. We were celebrating my birthday and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and special. He really made our evening so memorable while serving some amazing drinks. We cannot thank him enough for his kindness and hospitality. We are beyond appreciate and now have a night to remember forever!

Of all the places to spend your money in and around Cincinnati, I wouldn’t pick this place. I would give it a zero if I could. Never got waited on at a table so had to sit at the bar to even be recognized. Maybe 10 people in the whole place at 9 pm, and we’re still waiting on our food. The bartender has no urgency and didn’t give me the beer on tap that I ordered. Finally got my order an hour later. It was good for bar food, but had to keep waving gnats away. I would avoid this place like it’s the plague. You have been warned.*Edit - Only 22 reviews, and I'm sure some are friend's reviews, as to have so many low reviews should be alarming. The answers that the owner gives on these low reviews is comical. It's obvious that if significant change has not been made, then the owner doesn't really care about the results of the negative feedback. BTW - I am not big on writing reviews, but I really did need to warn locals and outsiders supporting Cincinnati restaurant/bars. Owner- I do not care to discuss anything with you, as looking at your replies - you just give lip service.

I’m still in disbelief of what happened to my girlfriend and I at this bar. A place that we were certain was a safe place to enjoy our time, considering it was located in the 4star hotel we were staying in. Before I get started just know all of this happened last night. I took her to Cincinnati for her birthday, wanted to treat her on a night out. After buying drinks and having a great time one on one at mavericks, the bartender and the manager, standing feet away from us, start joking about a certain race. The two of us, being of that race couldn’t believe what we were hearing as guest. The bartender, then topped it off by telling the manager that he enjoys throwing things at that race. At this point, I’m livid and still to this minute absolutely sick to my stomach that I had paid this man already. I left out of there in a rage, of course. The hotels night manager comped our room, but still does not sit well with me. I’ve spent the whole day thinking about this, and thinking about how it ruined our whole trip. A place that you pay money for good treatment, slaps you with racism. I would’ve thought that the general manager of this hotel would’ve reached out to me first thing today, but still have not had a single call from them. Not only should my room be comped, my bill at the bar should be also, and Hilton owes my girlfriend and I one heck of an apology. I will be waiting to hear from the general manager, and honestly until that bartender and bar manager are fired for racism in the workplace and in front of customers, I won’t be satisfied.

Really cool place to sit and eat! The hospitality was top notch. The food recommendations were spot on and good sized servings. The atmosphere was hip and the bar layout was really unique. While we dined here as a family, I can totally see this as being a great place to drink and hand-out with friends. If we are every in Cincinnati again (we were travelling through), I'd love to come back. BONUS: if you're staying at the Hilton hotel, they take 20% off the total bill! Just show your keycard.

Met up for happy hour with a friend. 4 bartenders. One texting on her phone while it took over 40 min to get an app. Had to walk back up to the not busy bar to ask for a second drink after our wine glasses sat empty for awhile. Probably wouldnt go back.

The best thing about this "restobar" was the bartender. He was very attentive and friendly. He got my drinks promptly and food was delivered fast. The food wasn't that great however. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it tasted weird and the chicken was gross. The fries were overcooked. I would never eat there again. It's a shame because it was cute inside and the staff were nice.

I waited 40 min for my food. The bartender was the only person working the floor. The restaurant was empty. I ordered the a flatbread and a Cobb salad. I received a side salad. I called down to the restaurant and no one answered. I had to walk down to the restaurant. The bartender brought up the salad 20 minutes later. This was a horrible experience. Please find somewhere else to eat!

The slowest restaraunt that I have ever been to. The place was empty and I had to wait an hour for a burger. A joke.

Nice restaurant, bar and lounge with upscale decor and yet a casual vibe. The bartenders are fun, friendly and provide excellent service.I only had drinks, but saw great looking food served at the bar, so I'll be back for dinner or at least try their small plates / appetizers. It's in the Cincinnatian Hotel, so it's perfect for their guests, but it's also a great stop for locals because it's within a block of Fountain Square (the heart of downtown).

Nice bartender but why does it smell like a hair salon in here?? I mean like someone is getting a perm in the 80's. It's pretty terrible.

Stopped in for a drink after a Bengal game. Our bartender Jeremy was an awesome host. I asked for a spicy margarita and he made one of the best handmade cocktails Ive ever had… and I have had my share lol.Stop in and if you’re lucky, say hi to Jeremy.

The bar smelt like stale alcohol and rotting fruit. Ordered drinks and requested a menu only to be told their kitchen is closed. It is not noted on the website or at the physical location. Bartender was dismissive and rude.
