We were passing through on our way from Ohio to Indianapolis. We chose McAlisters vs a variety of other places to grab lunch because I enjoy the ones in Indianapolis. We were not let down. It was the perfect choice. Thank you for great food,service, and pricing while we caught part of the NFL Game. :)

I always get the pic 2, and I get the baked potato with butter and sour cream, and the pecan chicken salad with the dressing that it comes with. The serving sizes are very big so I always have leftovers for later or the next day. Perfect!
Parking: It's on Harrison avenue so that's a busy street and the fact that there's a light to get out is a huge Plus.

McAlister's Deli, Harrison Ave. Can't comment on the food because my husband and I stood at a register and no one acknowledged that we were even there...A young girl quickly left the front register and stood at the carryout area when we arrived. After 10 minutes, a man walked in and she yelled over asking if he needed a carryout. He said Yes, and she waited on him. We thought someone else must be covering the front...we continued to wait. The young girl at carryout came over to get something and I asked if there was a manager. She turned her back and continued getting something from the back counter. Two ladies in back looked out at us but did not acknowledge us. We finally started to walk out I did try to call a manager 3 times while in the parking lot, but the girl put us on hold all 3 times, even though there were no customers. Sunday 09/15/24 8:05 p.m.

Food was good it would of been better hot flat bread taste good cooks did a good job the lady working the front was not very friendly went to the restroom an our food was on the table when we came out ice cold I take care of an elderly lady an we do take some time in the restroom so if I was this worker honestly I would of waited until we were seated to bring the food out, she never came to our table to ask how are food was we were the only people in the restaurant so being busy can't be used as an excuse! So over all taste of food great service from the cashier was terrible!

I have gone numerous times and they continue to mess up the order. They take a long time to complete orders as well. I will no longer be going to this restaurant.
EDIT: 07-22-2024 I tried this location again... I ordered and picked up food from the pick up window. I even provided a 10% tip when I ordered the food. The food was crushed, ingredients falling out of the bun and wrap. There was also a piece of plastic or paper between the hamburger and cheese, I guess this was a wrapper to separate the cheese slices during packaging.
You would get 5 stars but you're constantly forgetting my free pickles
