M & S is one of our favorite spots downtown. It a great place to view "what's happening" on Fountain Square. We love the seafood choices but the red-meat options will provide for those needs as well. The Ah He Tuna was medium-rare and oh so tender. We split the Voyage special "house salad" (it was delicious and large). The bourbon-glazed salmon was again cooked to perfection. The bread was wonderful and just out of the oven...we asked for a 2nd order of it. Portions were generous. We took home 1/2 the dinner for a tasty lunch the next day. We missed our favorite dessert, the chocolate bag. It is just the best! But, it takes 4 people to eat it, so you don't slip into a chocolate coma. Maybe next time.
Amazing service and my salmon entree was fabulous. My colleague lived his Sea Bass and our apps of tuna, oysters, and bacon wrapped shrimp were spot on
Good service, good food and friendly staff. Mention selections with the regular entrees and specials were nice to have.
Food was really good but drink service was extremely slow. Took 30 minutes between rounds of drinks from when ordered to when we got them.
Lunch for 6 people. Server was attentive but it took about 40 minutes to get our food after ordering. The restaurant was not busy. For people eating on their lunch break from work that is way too long. Overall food was good. The Asian chicken salad was very salty.
I had lunch at McCormick & Schmick's in downtown Cincinnati today. I was there between 12:00 and 1:00, a time when I thought they would be busy but there were very few customers. I ordered a cup of clam chowder. When the waiter brought the soup, it had obviously been ladled into the bowl and placed under a warming light because there was a congealed skin on top. It looked and tasted old. They brought bread with butter but I think it was margarine as it was tasteless. I ordered the Walnut Field Salad with Salmon. It was good but not much variety of vegetables for an entree salad. Overall, not a very good experience. Judging by the number of diners, they probably will not stay in business. Too bad.
The food was not seasoned well AT ALL. I had to send my dish back and get a completely different dish. I also had to add salt and pepper to everything. Did not expect that from such a classic restaurant that appears to be finer dining. The food needs to be seasoned better. Otherwise, the host was friendly and service was excellent.
Food was amazing. Service was great. Abby, Jawan, Derrick were all fantastic.

The food is consistently delicious here, but the service needs some improvement. We enjoyed our server, but she came so infrequently and never asked us if we would like alternatives.

Food was good. Have had a few different things off the menu and liked them all. The place was pretty empty the times I have been there. But the service seemed busy. Not very prompt on their table service.
