Beautiful place, and the food is actually pretty good! Service was great, despite being understaffed for the day. We were celebrating a birthday, but did not have any special treats because of it, nor it was mentioned. However, we'd love to come back!

The beers and appetizers that our group of six ordered all came quickly and were all vey tasty. We had good service, good food, and an all around good experience in the beer garden level of the restaurant.

This place has a very cool vibe with good food and beer. Our waitress was lovely. She made suggestions, which were good and she was attentive without being overbearing. The appetizers (pork belly and squash croquettes) were delicious. Three had the gnocchi and two had the spaghetti squash and we all enjoyed it. My only drawback is that they need a vestibule covering or something to help as it was a bit chilly in the restaurant, which granted it was a very cold day. I imagine it gets warm in the summer too when doors are opened letting the air conditioning out. I would definitely go back as their menu had some nice selections.

It was so cold inside the restaurant. At one point I got up to look at the thermostat and it read 61 degrees. The food was good- our server was good, we probably would of had more beverages but she did not come back often enough to check in on us. I would definitely not go back in the winter, may be just a summer time spot.

Honestly, I love this spot. And Mellotone beer project is one of a kind for a city full of beer. My issue was just that the food was not up to par for the price. We received a chicken sandwich that was cold in the middle, burgers that's were overcooked. That being said the sprouts and wings were fantastic. Outside of those issues this place is truly a great spot to have a drink with friends

We were looking forward to eating at Mellotone before a show at the Music Hall since it had been a stop on a Cincinnati food tour. Our first impression, on a cold evening, was that the dining area is drafty as there is no airlock when entering from the street. The employees were pleasant and knowledgeable but our appetizer arrived after our main dishes, which made us feel rushed. We'll try it again but it wasn't the fabulous experience that we were anticipating.

Waited 15+ minutes for water to come to the table. Staff made eye contact several times but didn't acknowledge us until we asked for them to deliver water. This isn't the first time it's happened here. If it wasn't so convenient for us to get to, I wouldn't make an effort to go back.

Overall, I adore this place and I've had mostly great experiences. My last experience was meh. Our server was not very attentive at all. Drinks were late or missed altogether. Food was not expedited properly and she just didn't seem interested in us. Maybe she had a bad day or was new. This is usually an excellent experience. The beer is tasty and the food offerings are super creative. I had the blackened pork belly po boy and I was the envy of the table. I'll definitely go back with hope that the service improves.

This is a very nice, trendy restaurant. We had 17 guests in our group and we were given a private area which worked out great for us. Food was very good and the service was great. Would definitely consider returning.
