Servers are great at Meritage! The only drawback are the multiple trains that go by... but if you're familiar with Glendale, then you won't mind them.

Went for my dad's birthday with a party of 8 at 7pm. Parking was fine. Our reservation took awhile to seat and the hostess was dismissive of guest trying to be seated. Once we got our table we were seated upstairs in a nice private room. Our server was so nice and friendly. Not sure if they were short staffed or just not equipped to deal with large parties but we waited 45 minutes for drinks. Another 20 for appetizers and finally got dinner at 8:45. Half of the food was good. The other half was very bland. Took forever to cash us out as well. Finally walked out the door at 9:30. Maybe it's just me but that's a long time for dinner.

Food was delicious. We ate there on a Monday nite n our room filled up. We had a treat as several trains passed by while we were eating. Nice!

We arranged a dinner with my siblings and their spouses so there was 6 of us for dinner. We have been wanting to go to this restaurant for many years based on recommendations of my sister who lives nearby. The entire experience was great. Wee were seated upstairs at a table for 6 with plenty of room. I can say with confidence that everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was Courtney and she did a fantastic job. We weren't rushed and her recommendations were spot on. We definately hope to visit this restaurant again soon.

Food was tasty, service was just the right amount of attentiveness, table was terrible. Placed right by the frequently used swinging kitchen door. Asked to be moved with no luck. Hostess acknowledged it was a terrible place to sit... made what would have been a pleasant experience into an irritating dinner.

Our server Steven C was great! I had the scallops entree which I'd give a B-minus. Small scallops, rice pilaf, glazed carrots. Overall, still a positive experience. After dinner, we went upstairs for a cocktail and live music. We'll definitely be back!

The food was hearty and delicious — big, juicy burgers and crab cakes with a spicy kick. Service was good, though the staff was clearly busy. The only downside was the noise upstairs. It got so loud by the end of the meal that we could barely hear each other. If you prefer a quieter meal, ask for a table on the first floor.
Love Meritage! I had dinner with a very dear friend which was delightful as always! The Peach Palmer was great and the Crab Cakes with Brussel sprouts were excellent! Can't wait to come again and will recommend to everyone I know! 🤎🧡💛

Our server, Matt, exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, knowledgeable of menu and specials, and anticipated our needs. Hot food was served hot! Crab cakes and brussel sprouts were delicious. Sautéed spinach was amazing! Adult beverage was well made.

Have been to Meritage several times and definitely like it and will return. Three of us were there on a Tuesday, which had a seafood special night. We had two of the 3 appetizers offered, the stuffed mushrooms were excellent. The salads were also very good and a nice size, not too big or too small. One of us had salmon and it was excellent. I had the lobster tail, which was good, but small. The third entre we had were the scallops, there were only three and they were TINY! Each of us had a twice baked potato which was excellent, but HUGE! I think one potato could have been shared and plenty for three people. Our service was excellent. Other than a couple size concerns of portions, it was a very nice dinner and we will go there again.
