Went to hear Sonny Moormon on his regular Wednesday blues gig. He is an extremely talented guitarist and has been playing for decades here in the Cincinnati area. True to the vibe at the Meritage, he played a more laid back vibe that was not intrusive on conversation.

Went here on our honeymoon. Our food was fabulous and the service was amazing. The mashed potatoes are to die for.Kid-friendliness: Had a kid menu but the atmosphere is fancy and for adults.

A group of friends met for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Everyone from the person that greeted us to the person that brought our food was great! The food was amazing, and we had a wonderful time!!

It's a charming restaurant with good ambience. The service was good, not great. Between my date and we each enjoyed about half of what was on our plate. Her twice baked mashed potatoes were edible but she wouldn't order them again. And my baked half chicken seemed to be twice baked. It was very dry/way over cooked.

I met a friend at Meritage for lunch. We had not see each other for a while so we were looking forward to catching up and at the same time enjoy a great lunch. The food was great. I appreciate that there are options for a "lighter" lunch. The only problem was the noise level. The table next to us seemed to think we wanted to share in their conversation. This is not the first time I have encountered this problem. Last year I met a group of friends for dinner at Meritage and there were a group of men who were loud. But I have to say because of the food and serve I would recommend Meritage to friends and also go again.

Passing through town and having to spend the night in Glendale I get a hot tip that this place was the best in town. The ribeye was everything I wanted it to be. Definitely a true gem.

I loved the warmth and live music upstairs but I forgot how distracted my daughters get by the TVs. I have to remember to stay downstairs with them next time. The service is always great, as is the food!

Staff were incredibly nice, but the food was incredibly bland. I tried the the eggplant parmesan special. It had no flavor whatsoever, and the eggplant was not prepared well. It was served with a pound of pasta for some reason. Would not recommend this place. You do get a large quantity of food, but at quality well below a chain restaurant.

What a fantastic evening. Greeted with a pleasant welcome and smile as we entered. The service from Sam was phenomenal!! The food all had such great flavor. 1st time visit and won't be last. Very impressed. You will be blessed if Sam is your waitress
