Had a horrible experience however the lamb chops and green beans was the only thing I liked Mac tasted and looked old and what was pose to be yams was nothing but sugar sauce no yams and spent 90 dollars on two orders they didn’t have Alfredo with lamb chops so I ordered something else with lamb chops and should have just went to Mc Donald’s it was definitely a waste of my hard earned money

This place was amazing, from the music to the service. We really loved the fact that we could play games while we waited for our food. I was the champ in the giant connect 4 and some card games. They played 90s R&B the entire time which kept me excited.I hate that I didnt get any photos when our food came out, but i devored it! I had their porkchop meal with their soul bowl and cornbread. It was delicious. My husband order their salmon, soulbowl and asparagus (I personally didn't care for the asparagus) however everything else was great. Also... their pound cake was super good with a lemon taste and very moist. I'm pissed I accidentally left it on the table as I was leaving (it was raining)Our waiter told us they had only been open for two weeks. We are 100% going back.

Definitely not impressed at all. I got Shrimp Alfredo it was seasoned welled, but cold even the garlic bread was cold. The server offer me something else. The Stuff chicken breast was pretty good, but having to use plastic utensils to cut chicken breast was kind of crazy. The atmosphere was cool I loved the music and the in fact you play game while waiting on your food.

We had chicken Alfredo with the garlic bread the portions can feed two but it’s best to order your own.. the whiting fish sandwich and fries are to die for..Love a eatery where you can feel at home and comfortable hospitality is welcoming and it feels great knowing the ppl that own and run the business are genuine people ?❤️?❤️ thanks Millie’s love the the food. This place has great potential. I came after seeing an instagram video. I wasn’t expecting the inside to be a picnic theme. The logo/outward display are completely different themes than the inside. I felt the restaurant could have been cleaner. The bathroom stall was broken with tissue all over the floor. The bar area was extremely disorganized. I asked for lemon for my water and they bought it out on a to-go lid. The plastic cutlery was shocking. Water is stored in pitchers in a fridge. The salt shaker was greasy and had food stains all over it. The food was ok, the macaroni needed more seasoning and the chicken was over fried. They don’t have a wide variety of drinks nor desserts. The server were amazing and kind. Very sweet people. This place can easily go the upscale soul food route with some changes to the concept inside. I would come back once they can get organized.

OVER PRICED AND UNDER SEASONED . I'm positive this food is NOT MADE TO ORDER! How do you get two pieces of PERCH that are cooked total different. One piece was OVERCOOKED, and the other was UNDERCOOKED. I also ordered the CORNISH HEN, which was BURNT & DRY. It would have had potential if it was fresh. MAC & CHEESE is "muh"! The YAMS are "good."2. The atmosphere needs work! I'm not sure if they're finished with the interior decor, but it's not appealing to the eye! I do love the variety of board games they have.3. The waiters were very UNORGANIZED. She was nice and very patient, but she kept making mistakes, bringing out the wrong plates. She forgot to put an order in so that person had to watch everyone eat while they waited for their food.4. 20% Gratuity is High, especially for the service, atmosphere, and food!I wish the business nothing but prosperity. I look forward to updating my review!

I went to Mint today and it was packed. I still got me a seat though, they made sure of it. I ordered the lamb chop Alfredo, and let me tell you, the lamb chops were so tender with great flavor (not like a lot of places who overcook it and leave is like lamb jerky) and the Alfredo....OMG it was absolutely delicious. My husband got the Alfredo stuffed hen and of course I had to try it, and let me tell you, the hen was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection, and the Alfredo stuffing was like no other. He got a side of yams, which I absolutely despise, but he made me try it, and they were so sweet and flavorful I ordered me some as well. My server brought us a taste of something new that is not listed on the menu, peach cobbler, and omg I literally almost fell of the bench. The sweet fruitful treat absolutely hit the spot. My server's were excellent and very on top of it, making sure our drinks were filled, checking in on us every so often, but not in a disturbing way. And they weren't like a lot of places, where when you get your food they just forget about you. And then the owner came and introduced himself and took our picture. This place reminds me of like a family backyard BBQ, and that's what it is. People laughing, having fun, and just enjoying the energy. Would I go back? HELL YES 100%. THANK YOU GUYS FOR AN ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE, AND WE WILL SEE YOU SOON
