Get the stuffed pizza. If you eat more than two pieces, I’ll be impressed. Absolutely the best Chicago style deep dish pizza place to go in Cincinnati in my opinion.

Gross. This is not pizza. The bottom of the crust is soft, fluffy. All purpose flour dough. This truly reminds me of someone trying to make a homemade pizza, without any knowledge. What kind of pizza ovens are you using? You have got to be kidding me. This has to be the laziest pizza joint I've reviewed. How are there multiple locations? I rate this place a "gross" out of 10. Since 1975?!?! What!?!

Another tip, your skim milk cheese sucks. Switch to whole milk mozzarella cheese. You're welcome.

I live Mio’s. My hot take: The pepperoni calzone is the best in Cincinnati.

I’d love it if they made impossible calzones. No one in Cincinnati has a vegetarian meat option that I know of. That “meat” is easy to keep frozen until you need it. Food for thought ?

We used to frequent this spot a lot but last time we were in we were really disappointed. The salads have gotten smaller. The deep dish was runny like water with less toppings. The fried pickles were soggy like they didn’t separate and dry before battering and it was one big goop. We’ll be heading to Anderson.

I’m writing this because it’s now the second time it’s happened. I ordered pizza for pick up online and it tells me that it’ll be ready within 30 mins. BOTH times that I’ve ordered in the past 6 months, I’ve gotten there when it says to and my order is somehow lost or not there, which may happen from time to time but I’m upset that it takes 30mins for them to realize there’s something wrong and then I’ve had to wait another 30mins for them to cook it again. The restaurant did not offer anything to make up for it like a small discount or to let me go home and offer to deliver when ready and I feel like that’s very poor customer service. Also the larger stuffed pizza is VERY tiny, especially paying +$20 with just 2 toppings. Also, this $12 salad was TINY.

I ordered a small stuffed crust pizza. I’ve only ordered from here one other time and had expected a small but shareable size pizza. I say this not as a critique but more of a warning that it’s a single person pizza in the most literal of terms. It was definitely yummy though!

Ordered the same pizza I have for years. This time they put some type of sauce on it that they later told me was fajita sauce. Not at all what I expected and I let them know it was horrible. They didn't seem to care, no offer to remake or anything. What a waste of money.
In addition they charged for pickles when pickles come with a hoagie. I will not suggest this place to anyone. So disappointed.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free crust but don't expect to get the toppings you want

Been loving this place for 20+ years and now I'm raising my kids on Mio's.

Parking: Parking lot matches the restaurant, but they're often busy. Even when we dine in at odd times, takeouts are flying out the door.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty on the menu that kids love AND they get to draw on the butcher paper tablecloth.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, ramps, wide door. Easy wheelchair access.

Be very wary ordering online, Mio’s is charging sales tax on food consumed off premises which is bad news, better get that corrected. Other than that they run a good business.

The worse Hoagies...You would expect better quality from Mio's...Speedway has a better Hoagie if you're in a pinch for lunch...No More!!!

I ordered online from this Mio's in Mt. Washington on Sunday 5/19/24. Unfortunately, I screwed the order up and didn't notice until I came in to pick it up. The girls at the front counter were beyond wonderful! My order was promptly fixed (even though it was a pain for everyone I'm sure). I can't express enough what a breath of fresh air it is to see a business perform with such skill and professionalism. They made me feel like I was their most important guest. Truly an exceptional experience!
