iF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CULINARY HOME RUN, TRY MITA'S. CARMEN GUIDED US THROUGH THE DELECTABLE MENU & MADE GREAT SUGGESTIONS FOR OUR TABLE OF 6 FROM EVERY MENU CATEGORY PLUS MADE AWESOME WINE RECOMMENDATIONS. WE LEFT PLEASANTLY FULL - WITH A GREAT MEMORY AND OUR TASTE BUDS DELIGHTED
I brought my parents in to enjoy Mita's for their first time and they had a lovely time! Grace was wonderful! She was personable and had great menu knowledge about both food and beverage. We will be back for a paella night!
Awesome service, Carmen was tremendous and both kind and helpful. My 2 guests had never been to Mita's and she made us all feel right at home. Each dish we had was delicious as always. Love this place and the fantastic comradery and service amongst the staff.
We loved everything we ordered. Had a great time. The culinary experience of all the dishes coming out and trying so many flavorful creations was so fun. If I had to give any critique I wish our waiter was a little more enthusiastic, I wish the food came out a little bit slower, and I wasn't inlove with the spongecake. It was a soggy texture thing for me, but my dad LOVED it. So it did not go to waste. I am still glad I tried it regardless.
It was okay. Could have used some more guidance with menu. Wasn't wowed by anything. Value and ambience was great.
The food was shockingly mediocre. We love Tapas. The empanada were fantastic. Skip the meat and cheese board. The guacamole and plantains were pretty good but felt like you've tasted it before. The mango-jicama salad was good, not excellent. Disappointing for the price. I doubt we'd go here again.
Amazing dining experience from the food to the service. We went to celebrate our anniversary and they made it very special for us. Strongly recommend the seafood paella. I wish I could remember our servers name. She was fantastic! Will definitely go back!
One of the best authentic Spanish tapas restaurants I have dined at ever. Some of the most amazing dishes, for sure. Jamon iberico was truly delicious. Along with the Ceviche, Pulpo, Beef tongue tacos. And soft shell crab special. Top notch dining. Well done, chef and entire team.
Overall incredible experience! Our server was fantastic. The tapas choices were plentiful and all of the food was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Our server was excellent, providing guidance through the menu. The food was over-the-top delicious! We will definitely return...when we can afford it.

Wonderful dining experience overall. Our server was very friendly, helpful and attentive, but not overly so. The small plates were perfect for our group of 4 as we were able to share and try a large variety from the menu. The desserts were a typical size which we also shared. All the foods were yummy and the drinks were great as well.
My dining experience at Mita's was really defined by server, Grace. She was AMAZING and anyone who doesn't have her as their server is missing out. I was dining solo and Grace took a lot of care with helping me select my wines for the meal and the food I ordered. Her recommendations could not have been better and I really felt looked after my whole meal. The food was quite delicious! I ordered the figs & blue cheese dish, the tostones (slathered in garlic butter, yum!), and the stuffed piquillo peppers. The seasoning on all dishes was exceptional. I did feel like each dish was priced maybe a little too high after reflecting on my meal. The restaurant itself is also a little strangely put together, but I felt comfortable enough. At the end of the meal, the restaurant did include an extremely long card explaining that they have a kitchen gratuity option on the check...it was a little strange to include such a loooooooong explanation for what basically amounted to “hey if you really liked your meal and wanted to tip the kitchen, we give you that option”. All in all, nothing that would stop me from returning (and asking for Grace!) but just a few things that took me a bit out of the moment.
Excellent service and food. Best plantains I've ever had. Excellent lamb. Dishes came out one at a time rather than grouped. Would have been nice to have had the bread with the cheese votherwisevquite good. Will go again.
Outstanding food. Fun to share and try several. We especially liked the octopus and poblano peppers filled with cheese.
We had a dinner reservation and were seated at 7:30, we didn't leave dinner until 10:15 pm. A few of the items we ordered didn't come out correctly, other tables received our tapas and initially staff were apologetic when they realized it but coursing of the 6 dishes we got was dreadly long. Staff was never around to refill waters or take additional drink orders while we waited for 25-30 mins between courses. I don't think that patatas bravas should be singled out as one course alone to eat with no additional tapas. We ordered the pork loin and it was last to come out of our dishes, it came out an hour after we already finished our last tapa. We just sat there, then told that the pork was being laid. So we just sat there confused and by the time we were about to say hey we're just gonna grab the check and leave, it of course showed up. There was no apologies for the delay or lack of communication as to what what was causing it. We're understanding and know things happen but at least communicate and tell us if something happened or if it was forgotten to be entered or if another table received it accidentally.
