This place in desperate need of a refresh. Ugly carpet..no wall decor. We ordered the Short Ribs...literally tasted like the chef dropped the salt shaker in the sauce. Could not eat it. The Pork chop while the sauce was good was so tough and undercooked it was nearly inedible. The heirloom carrots were cooked beyond recognition !! Can't recommend this place at all !!
We were there to celebrate 59 years, great food! We'll be back!!
Excellent
Ordered steak 264 which was extremely small portion and the mushroom was as big as a silver dollar. Extremely disappointed and won’t be back anytime soon.
Fish sandwich and black bean soup is outta this world.
Great local spot. I had the French dip, and it was amazing 👏
My wife and I had dinner at Nick and Tom’s for the first time, and we were lucky to have Richard as our server. From the moment we sat down, Richard greeted us with a warm smile and kept it on his face the entire time. He made us feel incredibly welcome and valued as guests. The food was excellent and arrived promptly, but what truly stood out was Richard’s top-notch service. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing a great experience. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’ll be requesting Richard again!
The Shrimp Scampi was wonderful.
I was very disappointed in my experience here last Saturday. First, the server was fast, but too fast. He dropped off glasses and plates and was gone again before we could tell him our additional needs because he never asked. It was so odd.
Second, I was so excited to order a steak! When my bf and I got our steaks that we both ordered medium, the outside looked amazing! But as we cut into our steaks, they were so rare that the inside was barely warm! We showed the server (after I flagged him down) and showed him our steaks to which he did apologize. He took the steaks back to the kitchen and mine was returned burnt to a crisp on one end... not even edible.
The rest of the food had very little to no seasoning. Our server apologized over and over and told us they had new cooks.
Overall, this left a bad taste in our mouths (pun intended) and we won't be back. Sorry, Nick and Tom!
The food and service were great. I'd put that Steak 264 up against any entree in the city.

We had the 574 burger (delicious) and the braised short rib (wonderful). Their Brussel Sprouts were the highlight of the night.
The food left a lot to be desired. They sat us in a corner that was so cold we had to keep our coats on.
Food was very good, service was very slow for a Tuesday at lunch time.
Weekends frequently include dinner at this place that our family has enjoyed for many years. It's so refreshing to visit and enjoy excellent cuisine and friendly service. We treasure this westside gem!
We wish they would bring back the chicken pot pie. We would come more often.
