We had dinner at Nicola's to celebrate our anniversary. Our occasion was acknowledged by a “Happy Anniversary” menu and glasses of Prosecco. The food and service were outstanding, especially our server, Hayley.

Relaxing , beautiful warm decor. Staff was friendly enjoyed conversing and learning authentic Italian cuisine. Food tasted heavenly. Would love to go back and try many things on the menu.

Our server, Austin was amazing and attentive. Michael the manager came around several times to ensure we had everything we needed. The service was outstanding. I had the lobster risotto and it was fine. I wasn't expecting the sauce that accompanied it, and that was my fault for not looking closer at the menu. My husband had the lamb steak and thought it was fine as well, but not amazing for the price. Our salads and soups were really good and the cocktails and wine list were excellent. We've been there before and had amazing food, so it could have been an off night. They have almost an entire menu of gluten free options and the gluten free bread was delicious.

We were greeted at the entrance with smiling faces and shown our table. We were first greeted by Michael, who offered some excellent insight, followed by our waiter, Ben. Ben suggested some excellent wines and was extremely knowledgeable. We ordered almost all of the entrees that were suggested and we were not disappointed! The food was outstanding!! We will definitely be back and recommend Nicola's to everyone!

We have dined at Nicola's several times over the years. We celebrated our anniversary with them and the evening could not have been better. Our server and other wait staff attended to all our needs with a smile and a kind word. Food as always was amazing.

Special wine tasting dinner, so they were firing on all cylinders. Chef Pietoso had a terrific menu, executed it to perfection. Almost 70 guests were served and poured. Wines were perfectly paired. This was the 13th year with Count Capponi and his Villa Calcinaia wines - he was charming as usual and very informative. A dinner not to be missed.

We were in Cincinnati for three reasons— take my puppy to a cardiology appointment, see my granddaughter (student @ the university)— and eat @ Nicola's!! We found this gem of a restaurant several years ago and whenever we're in town we make a reservation. Last night did not disappoint. I was a little concerned when they seated us upstairs— but once up there we totally enjoyed the space. Cocktails and wine were terrific and of course the food was outstanding. I'm a vegetarian (along with my granddaughter) and we found yummy pasta— simply delicious! We were pleased with everything and look forward to returning. Thanks for a lovely evening and dining experience.

I was really looking forward to eating at Nicola’s in Cincinnati. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The restaurant is low key, casual elegant, and the service was exceptional, but the food for the price point was very subpar. Our artisan bread basket for $16.00 was flavorless and our entrees (gnocchi and pop Cacio e pepe) were so underwhelming and over engineered. We did have a couple of delicious drinks and incredible salads but for a $250.00 tab, we left feeling like it was a very overpaid food experience for a place that promotes itself as fine dining. Skip this place and find another place while in Cincinnati.

Superb food quality and real Italian flavours Glad to hear they are moving to a new location. This one is a bit dated

I felt like it was way overrated. I felt like a place a like middle aged white guys bring a customer. The food was fine but very small portions for the price. It's a no for me but glad I tried it
