The food was excellent. The wait staff was very personable in comparison to other nice restaurants we've been to. Only complaint is that the tables are very close together and therefore it is pretty loud.

One of our favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. This time we went for dinner to celebrate our Anniversary and what a service! Just amazing and the food absolutely delicious.

We were very excited to try the chefs tasting menu, paired with the wine selections, for the second time. (Our first experience was great) We found the dishes lacking complexity and refinement. This could be attributed to having been to Boca the night before....We were not overly impressed with any dish, however, the wine selections were very good. If we return, we will be getting one of their traditional menu items.

The Chef's five course tasting menu was outstanding.We hope each dish ends up on the a la carte menu. Service from Stacy was great as was that from support staff. The dinning was is upscale with white tablecloths and very comfortable seating. We have been dining at Nicola's for almost 30 years now, going back to the pre-Cristian days. The food just keeps getting better.

We celebrated our 20th Anniversary and it was fantastic. Daniel was exceptional, we had steak and scallops and both were outstanding. Everything was perfect!

We enjoyed our meal at Nicola's but it was not what we expected. The oysters, egg plant parm and fava bean salad were excellent but the “tasting” size at a full price lacked value. I ordered the duck which arrived over cooked and so I sent it back and decided not to have the redo it or replace it with something else, which they were nice about. My husband ordered the skate which he said was bland and nothing special. We should have ordered a pasta dish as it would have filled the meal out, but by then I was not willing to try anything more. The bread service is quite nice in taste and variety. The bar service is good and there is good selection of wines. The service was very attentive but the manager came by and told us about features our server had forgotten to mention. I'd like to go back knowing what I know now and try again. They are moving to a new location soon so we'll wait until they are resettled in their new space.

Oh my goodness!!!!!!It was a hundred times better than I imagined!!!!! The management friendliness the staff professional attitudes and service was Outstanding!!!!!! The food was totally cooked to perfection!!!!!! Nicola's is easily one of the top three restaurants in Cincinnati!!!!!! My wife and I love it!!!!!!

Our server, Haily, was excellent. My husband always has the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, which is always outstanding. I had the mussels, which were a disappointment. No shells, the croutons had dissolved small blobs of mush and the sauce too acidic. They did offer to bring me something else, but I just had some of my husband's pasta. Excellent panna cotta.

We had an incredible experience at Nicola's. The food was spectacular, but the service is what put our evening over the top. Ben took care of us last night and just when I thought amazing service at restaurants was a thing of the past, Ben proved me wrong. He clearly loves what he does and we appreciated his care and attention to detail and knowledge of all things Nicola's. Plus he is a Sommelier so there is that too. My husband and I are vegan and we had no problem finding a couple of delicious entrees. We actually had to implement a dietary cheat day because the desserts were too tempting. Our friend had the ravioli! Fava bean salad- Amazing. Don't skip the bread service.

I had the ravioli and it was nothing short of delicious. Fun atmosphere, other than it was so HOT! I understand that it's an old building and it is really hot outside. But they made sure that we had plenty of water!
