my friends and i love this place! the atmosphere is so nice everyone there is amazing and the food and drinks are amazing! so lucky to have this place so close to home too

It looks like a dive bar from the outside, and well, it looks like a dive bar inside. But solid food, especially the deep fried cheese coney. It's dark and a bit loud, but see my dive var description in the open. There is a cool wall of tv's showing an aquarium scene in the back.

Love this place! Went for the old fashion (excellent) and were blown away by the food. I had the bagged lavender lemonade which I would highly recommend and the cauliflower wings and fried broccoli. So so good, I’m a meat eater and preferred them to traditional wings! You should go. Also, we took our kids and the staff were wonderful with them and they loved the food!Vegetarian options: Almost everything can be made vegan and soooooo many vegetarian options. THE place to go for vegetarian dinner without feeling like you can only order fries.Kid-friendliness: Not so much a family setting but kids welcome and many options for them to eat.
NSYC is hands down my favorite bar/restaurant in cincy. Premium monthly specials, handcrafted by chef liv, and the good tap rotation. The only gripe I could ever have with NSYC is the live shows that have disappeared, but as a bar it’s the best.

2024: 2/5 starsThe food at NSYC is still good but prices here have gone up like crazy. $18 for one small deep-fried coney with fries is insane... a coney at Skyline is $3... they're just gouging on prices at this point.Service at the bar is just okay, expect to wait for a while for basic things like water refills or to close a tab, even when they aren't that busy.I will probably go back a couple times per year, but not regularly with the crazy hike in food prices.2018: 5/5 stars
