O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar

I wish I would have taken pictures of how our food looked/came out because it was bad :(
We’ve come here often because the food and environment is always great. Unfortunately this last time on 6/4/2025 around 7pm might actually be our last. I ordered the Chicken Tender Meal with 2 sides (broccoli and fries). My mother ordered the Salmon with Shrimp and 2 sides (broccoli & baked potato). And my daughter ordered a bacon cheeseburger plain with fries.

1) We received the Rolls with Butter and every roll was completely hollow so it was all the outside of the roll. We received another basket of rolls due to the first ones being hollow and this second basket the rolls were almost completely flat and hard. 😒

2) my chicken tenders smelled and tasted like fish (I absolutely cannot eat fish because of personal reasons) AND the batter on them looked like the batter that the fish is fried in. Definitely did not look like their regular and delicious chicken tenders…I did end up ONLY eating 2 tenders and physically couldn’t force myself to eat them. The broccoli and fries were delicious so I ate them.

3). My daughter’s burger did not taste great either and she only ate 1/4 of it. She said that it tasted weird and didn’t want it anymore.

4) My mother had the salmon with shrimp, baked potato, and broccoli. First, her salmon comes out looking as dry as the Sahara Desert but after eating it she said it was fine. Next the baked potato ALSO was dry as can be and hard. She did end up giving them the potato for them to do it over.

LATER THAT NIGHT…we were all fighting for our lives because we may have gotten food poisoning :(

Nice quite place close to i275 eastgate make it accessible to many and offer loads of good eating and drinking options would highly recommend for people looking for calm and better place

This use to be my favorite place! They changed a lot of stuff up in the past few years. They’re known for their potato soup I feel like and yet it’s not the same anymore. It’s usually not busy. Food is pretty good and not as expensive as other places.

I had the chicken tenders dinner.
My wife had the sirloin and salmon.
Both were very good.

It's okay. Nothing outstanding. The salmon was way overcooked and dry. I never understand why beverages get refilled without asking.......unless you get a mug of hot water. A mug of hot water never gets refilled without begging.

Our server was a nice young lady who did just fine.
The food, however, was less than great. Except for the fries, what I got was not what I was expecting from the description in the menu. Also, I
was told I could not get my burger well done. Seems odd.
We were seated at a table that better suited a few small children - not three grown adults. We were bookended between two other groups and could not ignore their respective conversations. Weird.
I've had better experiences here but this one was below average.

I've tried to email corporate several times I've actually called them this morning and left a message even though they were supposed to be open at 8:00 anyways I can prove everything I'm saying because I have all the receipts the bartender has never been trained and my fiance had to walk her through how to do several things we purposely didn't want to come back but we did on a Sunday and of course we had her we were the only ones in there I was doing a joke and asked me to do a contest to see if he couldn't say anything for 30 minutes when we got there he didn't say anything for 30 minutes when we got there we were actually having fun with the server Sarah for the first time ever we actually had a good time with her that time however she neglected to ring Us in for everything I'm sorry I'm not that person that if you do that I'm going to get a bigger tip I've been in the restaurant business for a long time that's being a thief and I'm not going to be a part of that so long story short after we left which by the way he only talked for 15 minutes I was there the entire time he never said anything wrong this little waitress decided then to go and tell a manager he had said something derogatory but won't say what it is he then was escorted out which was very embarrassing especially considering the fact that he's a little person on oxygen the thing is he's been going there for over 27 years knows the general manager who personally called him to tell him that he needed to leave or he would call the cops I will be getting hold of corporate and if they neglect to contact me I will be taking this as far as I have to I have evidence to prove everything and it goes a lot deeper than that but I don't want to put all this on there and embarrassed their even more than she should already be as well as O'Charley's furniture properly training her and if I finally get a response from O'Charley's corporate I would be more than happy to resend them their email that they should have gotten which by the way does not work and if they don't I will take this as far as I have to because I have evidence and proofplease train your waitresses in your bartender's properly and you may want to let them know that they may want to start ringing people in for all their food because if she's not ringing Us in for food and she didn't like us and going to have us kicked out then what is she doing for her family members and other people that she does like I will take this as far as I have to this was unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous

Wheelchair accessibility: My fiance is a little person on oxygen there is nothing accessible in there for a little person at all especially when he tries to wash his hands after going to the bathroom absolutely ridiculous

It's your typical O'Charley's restaurant. Nothing special about it at all. It's honestly a little outdated on the inside in my opinion. Service is usually good but it just depends who you get. I really only come here for 1 thing... The potato skins. I can't find potato skins anywhere else these days (ever since the pandemic). The ones here are good... But huge tip... Ask for extra sour cream right off the bat bc regardless of you're eating there or taking out... There's never enough. The same can actually be said about the butter for the rolls. But I wouldn't recommend eating rolls and potato skins in the same sitting... You probably won't be able to move after that carb overload. Haha. Overall though, this isn't a special place, it's just like in basic chain family restaurant. Decent food, decent service, decent drinks, TVs on the bar with sports and most likely a bunch of old folks eating dinner around you with the occasional screaming baby somewhere in the building. 😆

I've never seen a place decline so bad in my life. Going to o Charley's was a weekly thing years ago but now I don't believe we will be going back ever. They changed there rolls, there steak didn't taste like steak, there rice pilaf is dif and tasted like paste when I used to love there rice. And finally why would they change the best thing they had in there potato soup!! It used to be made with love and always fresh with chives and looked amazing. Saturday night it looked dark yellow like cream of chicken and had no seasoning whatsoever. Fiance got the shrimp scampi pasta and it tasted like the Alfredo was canned and was unedible. When we pulled in we both said man this place is dead!! And now we know why. Seems like they are trying to save a bunch of money on cheap food and ingredients and it shows. To be dead on a Saturday night should open up some eyes in the management department. Really disappointed in this once amazing place to eat

Free pie on Wednesdays. Overall pretty decent food and price. The sausage bites and the spicy cheese wedges were great. Everything else was pretty good. Ribs were tasty

Everything was great! The manager and Stephanie our server were very sweet and answered all our questions about their current promotions. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly for me personally. Nothing was overcooked or dry and they had seasoned my chicken and veggies which made them very enjoyable. I highly recommend this location, ask for Stephanie if you're looking for fast and friendly service!
