This French style bakery in downtown Cincinnati on the corner of 4th and Race Streets is so good. There are several dozen individual pastries in display cases, sandwiches, and artistically beautiful cakes. They have a full coffee bar too. There are little white trays with wax paper lining on top that you pick up as you enter. Then there are several little tongs to take and place the exact items you select on your tray. There are tables to dine in or they have beautiful bags with handles if you want it to go. They take orders for full cakes as well. The blueberry fruit bite I purchased had a delicate surgery glaze and creamy custard on a flakey pastry crust. It was just about bite size. It was so delicious. I want to go back already. Highly recommend. The service was very friendly and helpful in understanding the selections. A beautiful urban cafe and bakery with items hard to find outside of France.

Ordered a hot latte for pick up at 3:38pm on 06/12. Watched staff pour cold whole milk into my latte & then put caramel drizzle. When I said it was cold, the tall blonde woman simply poured my drink back into the frothing cup, frothed it and gave it back to me. No apology, no asking to make it again. It tasted like frothed milk with caramel sauce.

I really want to love it here. The pasteries are good, but every time I go hoping there won't be Gnats flying around in the display case, I'm disappointed. A quick sweep daily to see if there are would be ideal.

Interesting Character

Walked in just to take a look and see what they have, as I just moved two blocks away. She says “don’t steal anything”. Don’t worry, I can’t steal anything if I never step foot into your business again. If you’re so worried about thievery that you tell your potential customers not to be thieves, maybe you should close down your business and move somewhere with less of a theft problem - that seems to be much easier for you to do than treat a human being like a human being. Keep your response to yourself, and leave our city.

The pastries are perfection, but we keep coming back for the incredible people who work here. They make you feel so special each time you visit. They treat each patron with an immense level of respect and kindness. I recommend this location to any friend and colleague looking for a new place for a special treat.

I ordered a grilled cheese for lunch (to go) and they gave me a frozen grilled cheese. I did not realize this until I was already at my destination. The place wasn't even busy. How do you forget to grill a grilled cheese. Or even put it in microwave.

Very pretty. I liked the red bean cinnamon ball donut and the coffee Dousant. I tried the toasted pesto sandwich and vanilla latte, it was okay.
