Band was great! Service, not so much. Got looked over several times by 3 servers to be acknowledged. A table that sat down after we arrived got acknowledged & received drinks. My friend ended up going to the bar to get us some drinks. Over an hour later, we were finally acknowledged by a waitress, Aniyah, thanks to another table that sent her our way. We were still waiting for our food order we placed 30 minutes ago at the time of starting to write this review (I wanted to wait until I was home to give the complete synopsis), & at that point, it was time to speak to management. It took less time to go to the bar to request to speak with the manager. Richard was very nice and listened to my concerns. Aniyah, the young lady who eventually took care of us, was also very nice & apologetic for the delay, as well as being overlooked. She clearly was working very hard trying to take care of several tables at once. And once done talking with management, our food had arrived. Again disappointed as the fries weren’t even hot. The place wasn’t packed as it sometimes is when I’ve visited to see live performances and the service was on point for the most part. I enjoy coming here on occasion to see local bands, and this was the first time I’ve had a not so great experience. I do want to thank Richard for the empathy towards my concerns, as well as for the discount on our food bill. Also, thanks to Aniyah for her kindness. I will continue to come for the live entertainment and hope the next visit will be better.
My Husband, Daughter and I really enjoy ourselves here they let my baby sing karaoke which is every Sunday the food was hot and sooooo good! Drinks are also great! Server was nice We will be back! 🥰😋🫡
Salmon croquettes, I really enjoyed. Spicy sauce and well seasoned rice. 9 out of 10! Great job 👏
Wonderful service from a young lady named red the music was too loud on one side of the restaurant so we were offered to move on the other side for business even though customers were annoyed by us asking numerous times to turn it down she stayed professional and was so helping. Will be back every Thursday.
Upon entry the first thing I noticed was self seating, which is not a problem but there weren't many clean options. Im assuming that maybe the staff was not yet able to clean the tables. We sat at a table that has a small spot on it but I figured I would clean it or just ask the person waiting on us to address it. We were met by a friendly lady who noticed the small spot on the table and said she'd clean it. The menu had decent meal choice. I love that their vegetables are not cooked in pork. Thats very important to me, as I do not eat pork. The walls are in great need of a paint job. The restroom only has one working faucet for handwashing and there was only one stall with toilet paper. The nice lady who waited on us was the only person working on the floor and the bar so I didnt bother her with the bathroom information. As far as the atmosphere, there was mostly rap music with graphic language and blatant sexual innuendo. About halfway through our meal, the mood changed to 90s R&B which was refreshing. The food was on point.. we has chicken wings, turkey tips, greens and macaroni and cheese. I will be returning but it will probably be carryout.
Line dance lessons were a plus, but the music was too loud for me as I was only there to dine.
Always love going to park place. Always good vibes and welcoming employees as well. Also great drinks and speedy service. Today we had the pleasure to meeting Deja aka red and had a great time.
New Years Eve Party was overpriced for what I got. The buffet was sparse . Chicken, green beans and mash potatoes were all they offered. The chicken was burnt burnt. I was surprised they served it. All food was just ok. My drink was overpriced. Band was good. Not impressed with the restaurant or event. Wanted my $$ back
Park place restaurant was the biggest surprise I've ever had with finding a restaurant.
Pros:
- The food was amazing. Everything we had was just beyond great. Loved everything.
- Selection of food was perfect (for me). I gave up beef and pork a few years ago and just told my wife that I missed eating BBQ ribs. And then we found this place. They don't serve beef or pork at all...but they had BBQ turkey ribs and BBQ turkey tips. I ordered the ribs and I was in heaven. We also orders Fried Tofu for an appetizer. That was great too.
- The service there was great. Very personable and just wonderful lady to talk to.
Cons
- From the outside, it looks like the place is closed. As soon as we drove in the parking lot I thought it was a place that was permanently closed. The blinds were all shut and the windows on the door were opaque, which made it look like there was some kind of paper on the inside. It's darker on the inside, so there wasn't any lights that we could see from the outside. We were about to turn around and leave but on the other side of the building, I caught a neon "Open" sign...but we had to drive to the other side to see it.
That would have been a shame because I think this is my new favorite place to eat!

Very nice staff and astmosphere, but an obligatory 15% tip after I had to ask for a glass of water 3 times is unacceptable

Visited for a class reunion so it was busy and the staff didn't appear prepared for the crowd. The food was not good French overcooked chicken wings dry and cocktails lacked flavor. However the band was entertaining.
