So I’ve never been to Parkland Theatre, wanted to see Twisters and all the theaters around were full so came across their site and decided to give it a try. We had the whole place to ourselves! Ed the owner was great! Showed the boys a bunch of Reds memorabilia from his bat boy days. We had a few drinks and boys played darts while we waited for the movie. We got 4 movie tickets, a large pizza, bucket of popcorn, 2 sodas, pretzal with cheese, and an order of chicken nuggets. It was only $65! Cinemark would have been $54 just to see the movie. We definitely will be back! We don’t do movies often, but it is nice to see a movie on the big screen and not need a loan to do so and to support a small local business is a plus! Highly recommend!!

We went to Parkland for the second time today and have had great experiences both times. Both times were private showings for kids movies. Ed and his staff were great with the kids. The theater is comfortable and affordable. We will definitely be back soon!

What’s not to love? First run movies with past light shows going before and after the movie and concession prices that don’t hurt like it’s 2022 or something. Would choose Parkland over the “big” theater whenever possible!
