Pendleton Parlor: Ice Cream & Cookie Dough

Absolutely worst place to get icecream. The place is infested with Roaches 🪳, and bugs. They’re crawling everywhere. the staff is super sweet but the icecream machine is always broken. There’s always this young lady in there when i come in to fix the machine and God Bless her. Please do not eat here with the roaches.

Hands-down, the worst customer service I’ve ever received came in there with my kids and never have been there before the lady taking our order was acting as if we were a burden for asking questions and then straight up lied about the flavors when I seen them on the board completely even change my mind of getting something, but make sure my kids walked out with ice cream. Ice cream isn’t bad because customer service is a -10

So close to Ziegler pool we walked and enjoyed the cool atmosphere! Was sold when we saw bumblebee and knew my son would love it- he did! Staff was super friendly and they're pet friendly too!!!

We’re not from here but came to this cute place! We got malts & edible cookie dough! Sketchy part of town but delish!

I LOVE this place so that would be the star rating. I love the decorations, vibe, and the ice cream tastes amazing. Going off of another review, there was a young girl working completely alone on what could be a busy, hot, Friday night. She was sweet and made great icecream but it didn’t feel right she was the only one holding down the fort. Not a good look. Do better!

I usually love this place the staff is always so nice and the flurries are to die for! We come almost every weekend. But tonight my partner and I went in and the only worker was a 15 year old girl. She was clearly new and trying her best. She was extremely sweet but I do not believe it is safe for a 15 year old to be working all alone in that neighborhood. Again highlighting the girl was trying her very best with a smile and this is not a knock at her. The owners should have some protocol as to making sure this does not happen, especially if he is hiring minors.

Initially I was bummed they didn’t have ice cream flavors that can be scooped, but they make a pretty banging sundae.

I really recommend the s’mores one. Getting a small is even enough for two people to share and the prices are really good.

I keep meaning to go back in to try their ice cream and coffee drinks, and to also take a picture of the sundaes! They have a decent menu as well, and the employees don’t seem to hate it there and are very friendly.
Please make sure you tip them, and be nice back.

Cute place good ice cream. Service was rude and awful. Didn’t even speak to us the entire time he was taking our order or handing us the ice cream. Raised his eyebrows at us to signal he was ready for our order.

Ice cream looked nothing like it does in the pictures. I got a soft serve vanilla with chocolate chips and the ice cream tasted freezer burnt and crystallized. I took a few bites and just threw it away. Very disappointed. My sister also wanted to get a malt (which is on the menu) but they didn’t have malt powder.

um YES! so happy i stumbled upon this place. was walking back to downtown and wanted a pick me up in the afternoon. just happened to find this lil ice cream shop right by urbana cafe and im so glad i did. the boy working the shop was kind and helpful! got the affogato with cookie dough and soft serve. it was so perfect, all affogatos should have the option to have edible cookie dough added to them. it was a great portion size for the price too! variety of seating and a nice atmosphere, just wish there was some music playing. will definetly be returning :)
