The pho I ordered was so greasy it felt like skin in mouth. And the left overs I had in the fridge had an itch thick layer of fat. Pho broth is time consuming and you can tell they didn’t take the time with the broth.

Going into this restaurant I was unsure what to order and how I was going to order it, I just knew I wanted something with a rich broth, healthy, and a good amount of protein. The young man in the front was extremely helpful guided me on everything on the menu and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. My son who is sometimes a picky eater enjoyed the Pho Ga 🍲 and the meal was able to successfully feed both of us and was fulfilling. This is a restaurant I will be dining and ordering out frequently from. The environment was welcoming, clean, and just a fresh relief from heavy food in our city.

Pho Viet in Cincinnati is one of those little strip mall gems that remind you why the best food is often found in the most unassuming places. Run by what looks to be a hardworking family, this spot serves up some of the most authentic Vietnamese food you’ll find anywhere around. The staff is friendly, fast, and happy to explain the menu if you’re new to Vietnamese cuisine, which is a nice touch when you’re trying to figure out the difference between pho, bun, and banh mi.

Now, let’s talk about the pho—deep, rich broth, piled high with noodles, fresh herbs, and just the right amount of spice. You can doctor it up however you like, but I say the hotter, the better. The portions are huge, and the price is more than fair, which is rare these days. While some folks are out sipping mimosas and eating fancy brunch dishes on a Sunday morning, I’ll take a bowl of spicy pho any day of the week.

Anthony Bourdain always swore by a good bowl of spicy noodles as the best hangover cure, and after eating here, I get it. I would add the Vietnamese coffee sweetened with condensed milk as a great follow up. Whether you’re hurting from the night before or just craving something delicious, Pho Viet delivers every time.

Best, most authentic Vietnamese in Cincinnati!! Their pho is massive and perfect for these cold days. Banh mi is super cheap and good as well. The family that runs it is super nice.

The food was disgusting, the customer service was horrible & I still had to pay full price for the Pho that I barley ate because its was nasty which is very unacceptable!

Carry out. A cold noodle dish w/ spring roll was very good. The iced coffee was so good, like a dessert. Will be returning.
