Most nights at placebo are pleasant. The bar staff is very friendly and provide great service. However... This night was very different! I can understand that there was a wedding party but I draw the line when there is a NONSERCIVE DOG, A FULLY GROWN SHEPARD LAYING ON THE BAR TABLE! AND NO ONE DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT! I DID NOT SEE A SERVICE DOG VEST! AND THEN AS A PAYING CUSTOMER BEING TOLD TO JUST LEAVE IF I DIDN'T LIKE IT FROM ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE WEDDING PARTY, I FELT DISRESPECTED! ITS NOT SANTITARY AND IM SURE THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WOULD AGREE! Let's also think that a wedding party was known to be there and you only have 2 bartenders on staff?! I could tell they were overwhelmed and it was piss poor planning! I love dogs and I have one myself but there's a difference between how you serve drinks at home vs how you serve drinks at a PROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT!!

JAXON is an angel - got bombarded with 2 wedding parties and this man handled the bar with Max by his side & the patience and grace only reserved for Unicorns and mythical creatures ?. In all seriousness - the drinks were great, service excellent, vibe on point and these gentlemen handled being busy with wedding guests looking to celebrate! Thank you & come get them draaaanks ?

When you walk into what I would call the hidden gem of Cincinnati, you get this immediate rush of warmth, something I wish could be in every cocktail bar. while walking in you are greeted by a bartender and let me say this is some of the best staff I've ever had the honor to be served. Placebo was very clean and the decor was trendy and comfortable. A large group of us were in town for professional development and Jaxon provided outstanding service as the only bartender.
Myself and my wife went on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. So we were very excited to come back. Sadly when we went in yesterday we received absolutley no service to the point where we left after we watched the bartenders tend to three separate groups that had walked up to the bar while we had been seated and had not even been given a menu. We will not be back.

I have been to Placebo multiple times and I’m happy to say the vibe has changed! The new bar staff are friendly, fantastic to talk to, and I’m always greeted with a smile when I come in. The drinks are delicious and fairly priced, given the luxurious atmosphere. I love seeing all walks of life come & enjoy this wonderful space, all are accepted here!In my opinion, the beat drinks are the Espresso Martini and the Low Tide.I also included pictures of* Lichidor* Espresso Martini* Manhattan* Bees KneesAll together, I think Placebo embodies Cincinnati perfectly!
Dietary restrictions: Vegan people don’t have to worry about animal products here. They use an egg white alternative that is so yummy to make their foamy drinks. Plus, their popcorn is vegan too! Taste like movie theater popcorn ?
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a lowered bar top for people who can’t use high tops!
