Didn't know how good this place was first time there and definitely will be back my ribeye steak was cooked to perfection I never had one cooked that good wife's sirlon was cooked perfect to rather go here then the big steak places

For the life of me I can't figure out why the lines aren't long here. Food is as good as ever. Meatloaf and other items on buffet were great and the ribeye was super tasty! Prices are even good.

We were excited to see a Ponderosa. We hadn’t been to one in many years, in fact, we were both kids the last time we went. The nostalgia quickly left us, as we discovered this restaurant was selling the same food ours was, about 25 years ago. Not ever gong back. Poor management, but the support staff easily gets 5/5 stars, very pleasant.

The food is good, especially the burgers. They are those old charbroiled style of the old steak houses which are very moist and tasty. I think it might be a little too highly priced, though based on the low crowds. It's tough to eat a burger and fries or even their amazing steaks with a full buffet of other stuff. That would be my only concern. The food is definitely tasty, and fresh though!

I've recently been informed this location closed permanently Nov 1st. There is still one left in Hillsboro, OH. We will try this one. Hope they don't close it. One of our favorite restaurants over the years. We drive all the way to Cinti to get to eat here once in awhile about 45 min drive for us. Usually someone wants to go with us. There are none left in Dayton area. They have good steaks and offer buffet and dessert bars with a good hot bar and variety of salads. Recommended.

We were excited to find a Ponderosa near our home, so we tried this one. Let's 1st say the staff was awesome! We never went without a refill on our drinks. Our waitress was very sweet. The Buffet though was....less than desirable. BBQ pork was good but the rest of the food was poured straight from a can or bag it seemed. Very, very bland. Instant mashed potatoes with no flavor, powdered brown gravy, dried out steak fries, thin, watery broccoli cheddar soup, overcooked broasted chicken. We tried hard to give it a fair review but it simply was not appetizing. I'm not sure we will be back.

Dirty!! Food had been sitting too long. Ordered a steak it was over cooked. The dessert bar was lacking any appeal with its dried out offerings. Not going back.

Good service from Will. Very attentive. Everyone we very nice. Buffet was decent. Potatoes and Mac were bland. Chicken wings were too salty. Fish and veggies were good. Rolls were hard on the bottom but taste good anyway.

This is the last time I will go here. They were understaffed from register to tables. 1 person was doing ALL. We were not offered drinks for over 20 minutes. The linr cooks wore toboggan hats and no aprons. There was a manager trying to scurry and do things but not enough man power to do this job. The food wasnt terrible but not good either. Not much of a selection. A man who was not an employee came to our table to see if he could take our plates. We said yes and later found he comes there sometimes and helps so he can eat. No problem with that. Just felt he needed to wash up and change out of his coat first. Bathrooms were clean enough but obviously old. Definitely could use an uplift. Would not recommend.
