This is a complicated review to write for multiple reasons, so its time for a story. First, I will get the simple part out of the way. I made window seat reservations 2 months ago for Valentines Day. I got there 30 min before, we had a few drinks, and got seated in a perfect spot. The service was good. The food was competent but I failed to see the reason its priced that way. It was fine. Cool atmosphere. Expensive bill.

This is where it gets interesting. We go to the valet parking kid and the kid tells me they lost my keys but they had a key master make me a new set for $700 while we ate. I guess he thought this was good enough for me and I assume he thought I would just leave and thank him for his “customer service” instead of his baffling incompetence. The key had my house key, shed key, and a personal memento that isnt replaceable.

Obviously I need to speak to the manager. She was definitely flustered and I could tell the kid had not gave her the whole story. So I had to. The thing was she was acting like they knew what car had my keys in and they assured me if I waited a day they would have my keys back. I asked why arent they calling patrons? She literally said she hadnt even thought to do that. This set me off. But to their credit they did begin calling. My fiance went and talked to the moronic valet parking guy and they assured me they had exhausted every possibility, looked through all the cars, etc. Then the kid comes running in, asked me “are these your keys?” And yes, the keys were in their podium the whole time. The numbers were wrong. They didnt think to look through the keys??? This would have taken them 5 minutes to fix. Instead, they caused the restaurant to comp our meal, and spend $700 on a new key. We left but I wish the story ends here.

Obviously when you have a new key fob made, it deprograms any others. So my original plus my spare back at the house no longer works. I inform the valet guy this and he lies and says well your fob wasnt working anyway which is why your truck was unlocked in the 1st place (yes people, they are leaving cars unlocked in price hill.) I use my key fob everyday and I know this is a lie plus the fact my spare no longer works.

The definition of incompetence. And it still is not over. Im waiting to talk to the manager.

Our second time here and we were excited to celebrate a special occasion. We got a great table and our server was excellent. Food was generally great except that they gave us a meat dish despite specifically requesting the vegetarian option. Didn't realize it until we took a bite. They were very apologetic when we brought it to their attention and comped us that entree. However, this was a pretty significant dietary violation for us, and it was highly disappointing that they didn't take sufficient precaution to honor that request. It soured our overall experience, and we won't be returning.

Was here for a birthday dinner . Service was rushed . Which reservations were for 8:30 and we got there at 8:40 but it’s just disappointing no one acknowledged we were there for the birthday girl. Not a happy birthday, not a who are we celebrating tonight. Not even a free scoop of ice cream .

The view is the best in the city. We sat at the window, but the other tables have a view as well. Pesto Chicken was delicious. Salmon w asparagus was delicious. Apps -- Walnut Pesto Ravioli was great...portion of 2 raviolis. Dessert -- Coffee and Bread Pudding, always pleases. Wonderful dinner had an early reservation, so daylight to dusk to dark -- very romantic. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.

The food and service is always great. We had the pleasure of having Annie serve us. She is great. Very welcoming and friendly. She checks in to make sure frothing is as a as expected.

It was my birthday. I was so excited to come back to Primavista to celebrate. We’ve been going there for years, but we had moved away and came back and I wanted to celebrate there always had wonderful memories. but we sat at the table. Everything was wonderful. Our waitress was wonderful and we ordered, and when they brought my food first of all, it was cold it had no flavor on the pasta and no sauce on it so the waitress did all she could to help me get a good meal. She went back and brought me different sauces and things to make it better, but there was no way to do that, and I would not let her redo It. By that time everyone was finished and then she brought me my birthday dessert, I was appalled at the dinky little thing that I was given with the price of things at that restaurant and why it cost for us to come there and fifth over $50 for a meal and it was crap and the dessert was close to it! So needless to say, I won’t be back and it’s a real shame And be honest, no one else really enjoyed their meal. It wasn’t what we expected and what Primavista always stood for!!! And by the way, I will spread the word. We have a lot of friends that always enjoyed it too.!

We used to come here every year for my wife's birthday. The bread is no longer free, the tiramisu keeps getting smaller and her salmon had salt and pepper..no other seasoning. The pasta had brown butter but the salmon..nothing. They used to have a yummy citrus salmon dish.

Very good food, we have always been pleased with the quality. The servers are friendly and attentive. The view of Cincinnati is outstanding. I recomed using the valet service .
