Was just there and immediately was not impressed. Met by the host that was holding an infant with a infant bed close by. Very unprofessional. Taken to the table and the table was fine but in a room that feels like a garage. And it was cold there. Paper menus which seemed very cheap for a supposed upscale restaurant. Flatware very cheap also. I know this seems petty but it gets worse. Made our order and I ordered the New York medium well. My nephew ordered the same. Both came back with not only pink centers but actually cold. And they were very small. Sent them back and they both came back charred. My sister order the fila and it was tiny and I mean tiny, but cooked fine. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant, not fresh made. Our server would disappear not checking on us and I'm not sure he even spoke english. Anyway the service was bad, food was not great at all, and it was expensive. The only thing "prime" about it was the bill. I was not impressed nor was my family. We won't be back.
We were one of two tables sat in the entire restaurant during our time dining there. A reservation was not needed. The service was good, but the staff often over explained the menu (about a 7-8 speech). They brought out the wrong appetizer but quickly corrected it. It was fine, but there are much better steakhouses in the area.
We entered the nicely appointed contemporary restaurant at 6:30 on a Friday. It was about 20 % occupied as it was a slow Friday for Downtown Cincinnati events. It was very quiet with nice ambiance. We were greeted by our waiter, Mario who was very in tune with the the menu and drinks. A friend had mentioned the hot spicy crab dip, and it was good. Mario was very helpful in suggesting the "homemade " pasta dishes we were considering. The Short Rib with pappardelle pasta and the Seafood Carbonara with pappardelle pasta. Both entrees were exceptional, and the pasta, flavors and seasoning were perfect. From the great service of Mario and his assistant , the ambiance and delicious food, we will return. I'm sure the the sound level will increase on a busy night, but I'm confident that the service and food quality will remain. Fyi, the appetizer, the two entrees and two cocktails were under $160 prior to the tip. Well worth the experience imo.
The food was amazing and delicious! And the service was excellent as well! Highly recommend!
Really great experience. Food was amazing and service was top notch. Would absolutely go back next time I'm in Cincy!!
impressive selection. However our two meals did not arrive at same time, and the outside of the steak was charred enough that the bitterness was apparent throughout the meal. The cut/quality was high, but somewhat wasted due to the char.
Outstanding !
Had a Filet that was beautifully cooked.
Mario and Nicole made sure we had Rockstar service.
We did not have dessert, but it looked amazing.

During our visit to Cincinnati, we chose to dine at this particular restaurant. The service we received was impeccable, with the waiter demonstrating exceptional attentiveness, particularly regarding the wine selection. I ordered an 8 oz filet, which, upon arrival, was not prepared to my preference. However, the staff promptly addressed the issue, ensuring my order was corrected to my satisfaction. As a gesture of apology, they also provided some additional asparagus. Guests should anticipate spending between $60 and $100 per person, especially if ordering drinks and a full meal. Overall, I found the experience to be well worth the cost.

I absolutely loved my experience at Prime! The food was 10/10. Service was 10/10. Price point was great. Everything was amazing.
The waiters took forever to come to our table. The waiter we were assigned to went to a whole nother table and was flirting with females and didnt pay us no mind untill it was time to pay, the food was disguting for it to be $20 and yes i did get the cheapest thing idc. Then had the nerve to think he was getting a tip Tuhhhhhhhh, Ive been to mcdonalds and got better service than that place, and to that bald guy with glasses he needa mess with people in his age group, terrible idc
Very disappointed that new owners discontinued the live music which was a big factor in us dining there.
Always great food. The filet is top notch but my friend enjoyed her salmon-topped salad as well. The truffle mac and cheese is decadent and delicious and I have to order it every time I go. Great wine and always attentive but not intrusive service. The ambiance is chic but comfortable. Centrally located and this restaurant never disappoints.
