We have been to the Quarter Bistro many times, but our recent visit was a mixed experience. The ambience is great and the service mostly fine, but not all the food was up to par. Maybe an off night or a new chef? The crab cake and chicken entree were great. Cocktails were excellent. The arugula salad, though, was limp and overdressed with lemon, so I didn't eat it all. Worse, the steak on the $50 Steak Frites was overdone and chewy. We'd already waited for entrees a fairly long time, so I rejected the server's and manager's offer to redo it because it was still tasty and I was hungry, but I felt like I could have made steak like that. I didn't eat it all. Dinner was saved (for me) by the yummy cinnamon cheesecake. We'll go back, but I'd be very reluctant to order that salad or entree again.
t today's prices you look for value in good food and service. You'll find it in spades at the Wiarter Bistro.Janna may be the best server we have experienced in Cincinnati.Oh,if you like Manhattans? They're the best at the Quarter'
Friend I brought with me said Short Rib is best she's ever had! I enjoyed mine as well. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The warm bread is yummy and bread pudding is to die for!
My son and I had a 5pm reservation, beautiful experience. Amazing food, can not wait to go back for a celebration or just because!
The food, service and ambiance was lovely. The endive salad was so delicious I would go back for that alone! It was my friend's birthday and the complimentary flourless chocolate cake was flawless.
The food was stellar and definitely the star of the show! Good featured options, as well as drink options. Service was on the slower side, and not frequently checked in on but luckily we were there to take our time. Great little area and nice set up. Will come back again
A gem of a restaurant. Excellent food, nicely served, good sized drinks. no short-cuts. Don't miss a visit. any chance I get, I go
Very cool art nouveau decor, quality food, approachable menus. Had a very good Sauvignon blanc from Chile (Andica). Great bargain wine that was Sancerre-like.
We just had to share a huge thank you to Quarter Bistro for making our son’s night so special! Our 17-year-old son took his girlfriend there for homecoming dinner on Saturday. We had told him to make sure he was ready — check prices, reservations, have enough to tip, the whole parent talk. He chose Quarter Bistro because it’s a place they always drive past, and it felt special to them even though they’d never been. He came home absolutely glowing! He said the food was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect — even if, in his words, it was “all older people” 😂. The best part? The manager came out, told them how much he loved seeing young couples there, and took care of their bill. That kindness meant the world to him — and to us as parents. Thank you so much to the staff and management for such a thoughtful gesture. It made their night unforgettable. ❤️ We’ll definitely be visiting soon ourselves!
Quarter Bistro is such a neighborhood gem! My granddaughter is at Northern Kentucky University and I brought her to dinner when I visited from North Carolina. The blackened salmon fish tacos were perfectly prepared and absolutely wonderful. My granddaughter had the pork chop and loved it. We dined outside and the weather was so pleasant. I love the beautiful bougainvillea and shrubs that enclose the sidewalk dining area. Beautiful and delicious!

The food was amazing. The service was attentive and the atmosphere is romantic and upscale.
We had a great dinner on the patio with great service. Ordered mussels (which were not steaming hot) and a salad. The meal was very good.
Sous Chef Ty and team outdid themselves. Salmon perfectly prepared and those spare rib tacos always hit the mark. Our server Caroline was so personable and attentive. We will return soon! Much continued success to all!

We love The Quarter; we have eaten there more often than I can count. The food is excellent and in recent years has become more creative and with interesting specials., Outdoor dinning is arguably the best in town. Service from Chelsey tonight was as usual superb and enjoyable. One dish in tonight's meal was off a bit in that the taco shells were a bit "stiff' as if the dish had been re-heated, but still very good and an excellent value. Highly recommend.
Our partu of four sat outside on a beautiful evening had a wonderful evening with amazinf food and excellent service. Consistently one of the best places we enjoy going to.
