We have been to the Quarter Bistro many times, but our recent visit was a mixed experience. The ambience is great and the service mostly fine, but not all the food was up to par. Maybe an off night or a new chef? The crab cake and chicken entree were great. Cocktails were excellent. The arugula salad, though, was limp and overdressed with lemon, so I didn't eat it all. Friend I brought with me said Short Rib is best she's ever had! I enjoyed mine as well. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The warm bread is yummy and bread pudding is to die for!
