Wonderful overall! I had chicken dinner and salmon croquette dinner with collard cabbage mix, potato salad and macaroni and cheese with cornbread included. Everything was simply delicious. I will be returning!!! It was priced fairly, I was expecting to pay more for the quality and quantity I received. I have to note the most gracious help I received from staff. I present with forearm crutches due to my disability. He went above and beyond to help me. I greatly appreciated it. Wonderful gem!!!! Great tasting, like big momma makes from down south.

My son wanted soul food, and I found this place online. Oh baby, the food was piping hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The food was so good, my son wanted to return the next day.
The restaurant is in an eclectic part of town. The parking could be better, but the price, quality, and quantity is worth its weight in gold. We are now forever customers.

Never again I am so tired of paying for food coming out of a can I can do better doing that at my house is there any restaurant in Cincinnati who use fresh vegetables and greens come on you gotta do better. I was parked outside 15-20 minutes and was wondering how come no one was going in or coming out it wasn’t good I was expecting better taste and quality food

This used to be a place we’re not only ,did you get soul food, but you got your soul nurture. The food is no longer good because her son’s are so disgusting and have been ungrateful and disrespectful to the Legacy that she was trying to leave for them wow. Since Miss Rashieda is no longer there, it has gone downhill. The people answer the phone, they’re extremely rude. If they get your order wrong they’re unapologetic. it’s awful. I really miss Miss Rashieda because this is not.Rashieda and they should really just close.

If you are in or near Cincinnati looking for some authentic, made to order, soul food then this is a must stop. The owner has been satisfying customer's taste buds for 35 years. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming, plenty of seating, and parking in rear of their building. The staff are very friendly. Now for the food! Had their famous Salmon Croquette (Salmon Patty) and fresh sweet potatoes and cabbage with a side of greens. No wonder they have been in business for so long.

Very disappointed! I’ve loved this place for many years but in the last 5 to 7 years the food has been literally trash! Salmon patties were reheated or cooked in old dirty grease Mac and cheese was overcooked and reheated cream of wheat cornbread was stale and tasted like dirt I don’t even know why I got my hopes up that it would’ve changed from the last time I was there. Rasheeda has her sons and family in there cooking and they literally don’t care about the taste or the quality of the food. It’s a total disaster and she should be forced to close permanently. She is aware that the food is disgusting old and reheated! I guess anything to make some money. I don’t know why the health department hasn’t shut this place down. I won’t be back ever! Don’t waste your time or your money. Portions were also tiny!
