We ordered a chicken biryani and the food tasted like it was cooked before 4 or 5 days and they are just reheating it and give it.

I've traveled to Hyderabad many times since 2015 and always return back to the United States craving the same kind of food that is served there. When I found Ravi's, I no longer had to wait to go to India to have authentic South Indian cuisine because it is as authentic as it gets. I love the food and the owner is fantastic! I highly recommend this place!

We selected mirchi bajji, bagara baingan, hyderabadi chicken biryani, hyderabadi paneer and buttered naan. For a special treat Double ka meetha for dessert šŸØ. We met, Ravi, the chef who prepared the delicious dishes. We will be back to taste more of the menu items. This is now our go-to place for great food!

To all fellow Americans take this from a British Pakistani who knows his curries.

I have had a few experiences of so called Indian food at Oxford , Dayton , Richmond and TBH I was very deflated at the so called Curry that was being served to my fellow American friends as the food was very poor.

So after a few recommendations from other South Asians whom I have met on my travels the same name popped up ā€˜Ravis’

We were met by a lovely lady who seated us I asked to speak to the chef as the previous let downs.

The main man Ravi himself came out and we chatted for a while and he said I got you don’t worry.

So I ordered Dum Goat Biranyi with Four Pulkas (chapattis) along with Lamb & Spinach Curry Garlic & Coriander Nan & a Beer.

The rice with the goats meat was so flavoured with the meat so tender is just melted away.

The Lamb & Spinach left my partner speechless
Ravi is the man his Dum Biranyi is just like home.

they sent me an item which was reheated in oven or air dyer. It was so hard to even bite and I even tried cutting them using the knife. Such a shame on them to send such disgusting food to customer.

We just bought chicken tikka, the tandoori item for 15.99$ and guess what, we paid for rice more than chicken. First of all the quantity is less and to our surprise, half the container is filled with rice. Who would pay 15.99 for rice?? When we asked the same question to the management, they said that this is supposed to be for Americans. Man! You guys are either bluffing Americans and robbing from them or just giving away vague responses.

I had ordered paneer pan biryani and chicken Biryani.
Paneer Biryani hardly had any paneer and very spicy. It had only rice without any masalas.
Chicken Biryani was not cooked properly and chicken was very raw.

Excellent goat curry with rice, excellent garlic naan. Food is fresh and flavourful. I heard that things can be spicy, so I ordered 2/10 on the level of spice. Just right. The mango lassi takes the spice down and is an enjoyable drink for the summer, non-alcoholic. Buffet is 12-3:30pm. Additional servings of buffet are $3.99. All in all, excellent food and service. I highly recommend.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.

Parking: Plenty of room.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors.

Amazing food always especially if you love spice. If you're new to Indian food, start off with some chicken tikka masala which is actually included in the lunch buffet. The buffet allows you to try two entrees along with rice and butter naan (bread). Ask to upgrade to the garlic naan!! You won't regret it!

Other dishes to try: any of the biryani dishes (there's one that's called 'Dum Biryani'. I'd go for that!). The chicken chettinad with garlic naan never disappoints either. If you're looking for more spice, the Special Chicken Biryani is quite delicious!

Things that'll cool down the spice for you is raita (like a yogurt based sauce) or a mango lassi (drink).

Best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. When I visit my parents from St. Louis, I always ask them if we can go to Ravi’s. Everything is cooked to perfection: the curries, biryanis, naan, etc. Ravi himself is extremely personable and gracious. He will take the time to sit and talk to his customers. His restaurant is easily the best Indian restaurant on Reading Road (South of Pisgah), and I wager he’s the best in all the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Go and support this worthy small business.
