The donuts were well made and tasty, but there was a truly bizarre aftertaste from the Bavarian cream-filled ones. It was like a strange metallic, chemical flavor that we were burping up for hours. Only the people in our group that got Bavarian cream-filled donuts had this issue. My wife said the aftertaste was meat-like. Whatever was going on there put us off visiting again.

Ordered a dozen donuts and they had no boxes. The girl shoved a dozen donuts into 2 small bags. I asked if they had any better way to package them up and was told no. So when I got home I had to peel them off each other and the icing all came off onto the inside of the bag since they were squished. Utterly frustrating, poor common sense and service. Would have been better to at least put 2-3 donuts in each bag and just use more bags.

I came in years ago to try their pastries and they were super dry. I came back in this week seeing they had new ownership and was utterly disappointed. Their cream horn was very stale tasting as if it were a few days old. There was a peep like marshmallows filling that was gummy vs the light fluffy cream I'm used to from other places . The chocolate icing/glaze for their donuts and long John's had a strong after taste of powdered sugar. The cream inside was good but the dounut was also dry. I was hoping it would be better after some years. The service was alright they got what I needed but didn't really want to conversate. Maybe I'll try in another 6-8 years....

Now that the new owners have taken over you don't have many choices to choose from pastries or smaller and prices are high
Regina Bakery’s new owners have changed recipes and what we loved about them is gone. New owner thought we wouldn’t notice the changes that are made to all filled donuts and coffee cakes. They did Regina Bakery no favors. I personally will not be visiting them again. They also will no longer be sold at local grocery store.
Looks nothing like the picture and nothing like we discussed on the phone the cake looks like something I could have just bought from Kroger. The icing is all messed up, it’s sliding off the side.looks like someone just through it together in one night. I can’t believe this cost $50. The girl was rude and said there’s nothing we can do about it and we don’t do refunds. This is what I was asking for and this what I got!
Great selection, fresh made . Fair pricing
End of an era. They had a great reputation, but they've been sold and are no longer offering the classic smiley face cookies. :(
My dad used to mail me a dozen each major holiday and I'm sad they're gone.
It’s a very nice small neighborhood bakery. It’s been around for over 60 years and it’s just been sold to another family. Good luck to everyone involved in the ownership and changes.

Everything is delicious at Regina bakery.
Regina is the BEST. From the cream horns to donuts to buns and danishes...I cannot praise them enough. The employees are always friendly and helpful. It's a gem. In a world of corporate saturation and putting mom and pops out of business, this is a true treasure and I hope survives.
