Caviar was fantastic, the beets were amazing, beef kefta was off the charts, octopus was just a tad on the salty side, but absolutely delicious. And Jen was fantastic! We've had her before, and she never disappoints!

Excellent food. Small, cozy atmosphere. Even with background music the sound level was perfect for conversations. Will come back again. Recommended!

To celebrate our 25th anniversary, my wife and I dined at Safi, usually one of our favorite places in Cincinnati. We enjoy the low-key, intimate vibe, and the menu is outstanding. On this occasion, the food - 1/2 dozen oysters, two rounds of merquez sliders, and the eggplant dip with bread - was excellent. Service was discreet, one might say diffident, but timely and polite. We were both disappointed that, in spite of making the restaurant aware that it was our 25th anniversary, a once-in-a-lifetime occasion for most people, not one mention was made of it, not one consideration was made in acknowledgement of it. We consider this a serious lapse of hospitality; we chose Safi for this special occasion over many other fine restaurants in Cincinnati, and we frankly didn't feel that we were treated as special guests. Dining in Cincinnati is nearly a competitive sport these days, and the personal touch is justifiably expected on an anniversary, especially when it is mentioned in Open Table's reservation process. I hope that in the future the Safi staff will treat this kind of event with the same level of respect and quality that the kitchen prepares its fine dishes.

My favorites were the garbanzo beans and the sausage sliders. Everything was delicious though. The sangria is the best I've had, the sparkling wine ready elevates it. Can't wait to go back!

So fabulous, we had a lovely date! Very calm and classy interior atmosphere, and our server Carl was very friendly and took great care of us! Oysters, wine, dates and cheese, and octopus were all divine! We can't wait to come back :-)

Great place, very cool vibes, mellow and sophisticated. Lots of good food choices. Service was sub par. Asking for water refills, minimal check ins, gave us the wrong bottle of wine. Too nice of a place not to have top notch service to match.

The wine selection and ambiance was great. The food was a 6/10. We got three small plates and the best was the Chicken Pastilla by a mile. The carrot dish was the biggest disappointment as it was 95% chickpeas/greens and 5% carrots. The service was efficient but stiff. None of the bartenders were engaging with the patrons and stood there expressionless most of the time. It wasn't bad service just not what I expected.

We enjoyed a lovely mid afternoon snack and delicious cocktails on a break from holiday shopping.

Four of us went in for drinks and a small bite before dinner at another restaurant. We loved the drinks, especially their take on the espresso martini. Our server was fantastic! He was knowledgeable about the menu, even the wines. I would have been fine skipping the next stop and just staying at Safi for the night!

Such a unique fun experience! Loved the candle lit Moroccan style coziness! Enjoyed the unique wine list and matching it with the delicious tapas style small plates. Our server Lily made our experience even better so enjoyable. We will be back with friends!
