they seem like nice folks. I’m not a big coffee fan though so I can’t tell you about hanging out there too long or nothing. I just know that they’re part of our Sayler Park neighbors and they seem like nice folks.
I review a lot of coffee shops. I had missed this one on Westside. It will go in my regular rotation. The Blueberry Danish was tasty but was topped by the Salted Honey Vanilla Latte! Latte was perfection. The space was cozy and smelled very clean. Bathrooms were very clean. This coffee shop has an amazing feature that I’ve only seen at one other coffee shop in West Virgina. There is a board that you can buy someone a coffee. The one in WV specially was for police and fire....
This was the first time I had ever been to a coffee shop and I loved it! I am not really a coffee afficionado, so my opinion on the coffee and food is probably not super reliable. But I did find the scone that I ordered to be pretty dry. It was tasty though! And the coffee was just fine.
But I came mostly for the atmosphere and I was not disappointed! It was casual and energetic without being overwhelming. And the lady who served me was very patient and cheerful...
