I was very excited to dine here. The ambiance was fantastic. The service felt a bit rushed. The food was awful, tasteless and seemed undercooked. I was very disappointed. I don’t mind to pay more for good service and good food. This was not the case here. I won’t go back and would advise others against it.

This is my second time going there. And I live in Cleveland Ohio. The food is fantastic. And I love all of the pictures and wine bottles they have on display.

I'm a New Jersey native. This place reminds me of a few hole in the wall type places I've been to both in NJ and in New York City.

That's kinda where the positives end. The food is at best bland and as worst tastes like sawdust. The Kroger brand Rigatoni I was served as a side with the veal was grossly undercooked. I know what al dente is supposed to be and that was 2 minutes shy of that. The veal itself was overcooked and the breading was basically soggy sawdust. My wife had meatballs that also had the weirdest soggy texture and bland flavor I've probably ever experienced.

Redeemingly, service was attentive and fairly quick. Though based on some other reviews, that's atypical.

It will not be my choice to return here, that's for sure.

Cool ambience in oldest continuously operating Cincy restaurant, now in generation five. Prices are very reasonable. Good food like your grandmother would have made if she were Italian.

My brother and I had Scotti's last night and the carbonara was off the charts! Fantastic ambiance.

I was excited to dine at Scottis as I haven't been here in quite some time, the service was just ok,the waitress was friendly but not attentive ,the dish I ordered was overcooked pasta was hard and was not tasty ,our server never came back to check after dropping off our entrees,, when she did come back she asked about my meal which was basically untouched, she still presented the check with meal still on there. Had she checked back earlier i would have been able to tell her that it was awful. As a restaurant manager I would never have charged a customer for an uneaten meal . I know they have been in business for over 100 years but with only 4 tables in the place on a Friday night I'd be super attentive to the people there . Good luck staying in business if this is common practice. Horrible!

Absolutely over rated...coming in from out of town looked up Italian restaurants and unfortunately this over rated place showed up. Staff is Absolutely miserable, no type of customer service or hospitality. Tried to ask what are the best recommendations from the menu and was told saurerkraut and hot dogs... like come on! Once the food arrives I could see why they had no recommendations ..bland, flavorless, pasta complete mush and over cooked, sauce has no flavor..best thing about this place was the burnt bread... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!

The sauce has a great flavor. Atmosphere is dark, but inviting. Everything we ate was delicious. Thanks. Will be back when in Cincinnati

Food was not great and the employees are very rude (and before I get a snarky comment from the restaurant… YES I am reviewing
the right place!!)
