Senate is good and has a slightly eclectic menu. The duck fries, tuna poke bowl and garlic parm wings were all very tasty. The location is a little off the beaten path and tucked away in a nice park area.
$72 for a beer, an iced tea, two hot dogs and poutine. Everything was ok, but for $72 with 20% tip, it should be amazing. Service was attentive and the place is nice, but wow, you don't get what you pay for.
I stumbled into this place with some work colleagues when we were working in the area. When we walked in the door, I had no idea what kind of food they served. The menu wasn’t particularly large, but it had some really interesting choices. I’m not a big hot dog person, but there was a broad selection of very unique hot dogs.
