Great hidden gem with legit brisket. I’ve had Cooper’s in Llano and I’m sayin. Fork-only BBQ. So tender that the knife is purely ornamental. White onion on the side, sliced thin with a mandolin. IYKYK. You won’t need the sauce but ask for the peach BBQ sauce anyway.

It was hard to find a take out option for a Saturday evening but we finally found Home Court Tavern! Husband got the Riverside burger which was a perfect tavern burger and I got a couple orders of chicken tenders and fries for the kids and I to share. The fries are super crispy and seasoned. The tenders (4 decent sized ones) were also very crispy and didn't have any suspicious tendon-y bits. On top of that it was ready in 15 min. Very pleased. Thanks from Pittsburgh!

I got the brisket sandwich and it was good but lacked flavor. The fries were really good. The bad part was I had to ask for our check 4 times. The first time she gave me the check for the table next to us. I kindly asked for our check. The second time I figured she got it right and gave her my card just to realize the check was wrong again. And than the third time she did it again. I went to the bar to find her and she was arguing loudly with another employee about "working Sundays" the conversation got heated. Another employee who was having a drink at the bar had to fix our check since the other two servers were arguing. It was an actual mess. the server literally couldn't provide us with our check. Will never becoming back here.
Also, there were only two tables in the whole restaurant so they weren't busy.

We did a company dinner event here, we used their upstairs space and we all loved it! The variety of drinks was great! They have cocktails, big bourbon selection, draft beer and more. The food was soooo good!! Everyone loved their meals and the dessert! I highly recommend stopping by, we had a great experience.
Great bar with that old school corner pub feel. Wide selection of bourbons & whiskeys. Delicious menu with substantial portions! Pation area. Intimate, small gathering vibe. Top notch service!
