I feel like I'm honest to a fault in my reviews so here goes it: I've been way excited to try this place as BBQ seems to be the East End theme nowadays. Outside looks good. Typical Eastern Ave parking. The website highly recommends making a reservation. I mean.....We did. There was only one other table full when we go there. Our server was very nice, very efficient. But then, she only had us and one other table. Food came out fast but again........(see above) Wasn't overly impressed with the poppers. We also ordered the loaded fries with brisket.......DRY. DRY. Hubby & I both agreed on a 2 star review but the mac n' cheese kicked it up a star. The mac n' cheese is unique; they should run with it. Make a main dish of brisket (with sauce!!) on mac n' cheese. Home. Run. Will we be back? No. Very unlikely. Nothing to draw us in. This place probably serves well as a local spot. I see it competing with the local bbq spots only because it appeals more to the locals than the other in this area. The others draw from the tri-state because of quality food. We had a Groupon. We gave it a try.

If you ask how I want the burger cooked, you got to deliver. I said medium, and I got well done, not burnt or dry though. It was still juicy and seasoned fine. It was just "eh". A $16 burger should make want to come back. Fries were seasoned well and crispy.

Absolutely amazing experience. First time and we are now loyal customers forever! Everything on the menu is amazing and I highly recommend the crispy pork belly app, naan tacos and corn bread. The owner is exceptional and very interactive with the customers. Great beer and bourbon selection...Don't miss out on this hidden gem!!!

What a cool place. Their tables and bar came from basketball courts!! First I was like wow this bar is colorful then got to looking and WOW! Just wanted a beer and an app. We chose the tots of course. He said wow they don’t taste done. Oh honey….its deep fried mashed tater tot! Melted in your mouth ? the guy next to us had a brisket….i almost wanted to ask him for a bite it smelled soooooo good! And the Merry Monkey brew….10% of deliciousnous!!!! If you find yourself on the Ohio river scenic byway make this one of your stops!!
Great Food and Service! The Brisket Sandwich was delicious, especially on sourdough bread. We also liked to high top tables made from old basketball courts.

The service is great and those pulled pork tacos with side of Mac-n-cheese may have been the best thing I've ever eaten. lol. Great beer selection too!

Quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. Stuffed jalapeño, pork belly for appetizers. Cuban sandwich, brisket tacos, pork plate all are DELICIOUS!! Max and cheese hands down best we've had. Restaurant is very cozy. Nice outdoor area. Can't wait to go back when weather improves. Service hands down the best we have ever received. Waitress/bartender was engaging with everyone and did not skip a beat. Cannot wait to return...definitely found a GEM!!!

AMAZING! Went last night for dinner. 4 in our group..stuffed jalapeños and pork belly for appetizers both were delicious! Meals were tacos, pork plate and Cuban sandwich. We could not stop raving about how good the food was. Mac and cheese was hands down the best we’d ever had! Ambiance of the restaurant was great! Very cozy. SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING!! The place was packed and the bartender/waitress did not skip a beat. Drinks and food were flowing and she was engaging with all customers. We try to visit different restaurants but this one will definitely be a regular stop for us. Already planning on going for a Sunday brunch!

Our waiter was GREAT!! He was really busy but very attentive and personable!!! Get the pork belly appetizer and won’t be disappointed!! We will be back! Naan Brisket tacos ❤️!!

Amazing Smoked Brisket sandwich, with great french fries and a beer. The only way to start a Sunday before the Bengals. Minutes from downtown. Small, well done, with large tv's. Will be our on-the-way-to-the-game stop from now on.
