Sat at the bar tonight solo… just needed a moment. So incredibly happy I made this decision instead of drive thru. Food, service, atmosphere top notch.
I was here visiting for the holidays and had to have some Skyline Chili. I grew up here but moved away 26 years ago. Sometimes the reality doesn't match up with your memory but I'm happy to say Skyline did. We had fast friendly service and the food was great.
Came to this location today. Dropped in to purchase a chili cheese sandwich an of order fries with a sweet tea. I was greeted by 3 workers when I enter the atmosphere. The boy working the from asked if I wanted to dine in or for it to be a carry out. I stated it would be to go. After waiting for my food, I decided to sit down at a table to clear my head, and kill time before I had to pick up my baby! The young man explained to me that he enjoyed working there, It was his second day, and I said it's probably pretty easy. ( he was very friendly and welcoming) We had a small talk while he was taking my order. After he brought me my food I asked him if it was OK if I just sit right there to nibble on my french fries, he said that should be fine go ahead. As I was eating scrolling my phone, I was addressed by the only black worker in the restaurant who was actually on the grill and she told me I could not sit there unless I paid $.53. She explained to me that her manager wanted her to come over and asked me for $.53 for dining in. I explained to her that I was not utilizing a sever and didn't understand why I needed to pay when I was okayed to sit here. I'm just sitting in the chair nibbling on my fries to kill time. I asked if I needed to move ... go check Google for the rest! But I won't ever step foot back in this location or patronize this place again!!!!! You

This place is horrible.. gave me 2 hot dogs on each one and no chili.. I won't be going back to this one again. At least the 10th time they messed up a simple order.
