My husband and I wanted to have an authentic Cincinnati Chili experience and found it at Skyline Chili! We had to try it with the works - 5-way - with spaghetti, chili, beans, onion and cheese. Delicious! Even tried the Coney which is the Chili atop a hotdog. Informal setting and great service.
Our hotel (Hilton TRU) had a huge blackboard that offered information about Cininnati. Skyline Chili was listed. My sister looked it up and found that we were quite close to the museum we went to. So, we found it and had supper there. Obviously it is a very popular place. It is certainly not fancy. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I was in Cincinnati for a week for work, and everyone kept telling me to try this place. On my last day in town, I finally went in for a late lunch. The chili was AMAZING. The service was excellent. And the atmosphere was no frills, but extremely warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back!
