After a considerable wait, 80% of my breakfast was burnt to the point it was not edible. Manager could clearly see the burnt food took the plate and only offered half off my meal. Did not have the time after the initial wait to wait for a redo. Would not recommend, I guess this place is hit and miss as far as what you’ll get, find a more trusted restaurant.
What an experience… showed up with two toddlers which means every minute counts, from the get go the waitress seemed annoyed. I ordered a drip coffee, 15 mins later it arrived by another person, it’s a drip coffee, it’s in a pot. Ordered food and took 45 mins to arrive, a very very long time and within that time had to stop to ask waitress to refill our waters and coffee because she just kept walking by us. Finally after done eating, no apology for the wait, or thanks for our patience or anything. Quickly put bill on table and walked away. For a place with good food, not worth the wait and poor service we experienced!

Definitely overrated. Food was cold and so bland. Either filthy or empty condiments on the table.

Best pancakes you will find! Very nice staff and management
I loved it at breakfast but not so much at late lunch. The staff was a ton nicer at breakfast the waitress at late lunch cautioned us we needed to be out by 3. We had plenty of time but set the tone the whole time. All rushed.

I absolutely hate this place. Every time I’ve EVER ordered (and the last time was over a year ago because the service was terrible) they forget all my drinks and throw my food into containers so all the toppings are on the container not the pancakes. Why even put the topping on?! Put it in a side cup!! Worst food. I feel bad for this city, this is embarrassing. I’d say I’m embarrassed for the people who work there but they’re clearly the ones who don’t care about putting an order together properly. EVER. Can’t believe I thought I’d get better service a year later.

Sleepy bee was a sleepy bummer. I love all things breakfast and the food is below average at best. Our waitress was exceptionally rude and we practically had to beg her to come over for more coffee, water, etc. the entire duration of our stay. Some of the other staff we encountered were very kind.I would recommend going to the Maplewood Kitchen a few blocks over if you want a good breakfast!

As a downtown resident, we stopped going here. Drug dealer stands within 4 feet of the door on a daily basis soliciting money. He is regularly stooped over in a comatose state high on drugs. He can be aggressive soliciting money.
Wild Eggs down the street is a great breakfast/brunch option.
Came here once in 2019 and again in 2024. Would definitely recommend to any out of towners visiting Cincy.
