We arrived in Cincinnati the day after a big snow storm. The Sleepy Bee was closed (along with must businesses) our first day in town, due to the weather. But on our second day it was open and delicious. I had the baked apple buttermilk pancakes and my husband a full breakfast (eggs, potatoes and goetta).
Good food and fast service. I liked the different options for breakfast. Bottomless coffee was another nice surprise.
Absolutely fantastic meal and fantastic staff. Perfect portion size. Not too big, just right. Busy on game days, but completely expected and they handled it very well. Again, staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. Would love to go back.

Great friendly service, and very fairly priced! You can tell that they really focus on using high quality ingredients which made the food very good. A lot of great options on the menu!

I see why they have repeatedly been voted the best breakfast in Cincinnati. Everything we ordered was great; they were busy, but we still had very good service. The chai latte was the best I've ever had, and the vanilla-almond oatmeal was also excellent.
Cool atmosphere. Long wait, including very empty bar seating. I attempted to sit at the bar and was told by the bar tender that it was included in the wait. Not a single soul sat there the entire time, and the option was not given by the hostess. Small but delicious bites. Server was great.

Staff were very friendly and on top of things. The food was truly incredible. The cinnamon buttermilk pancakes were big, fluffy, and delicious.

I ate here twice while visiting Cincinnati. The Avi Scramble was delightful and everything tasted so fresh. The teas (local Wendigo) were so good I’m going to try to find some to take home with me.
Food was very good, service was good

54 dollars for 2 people and terrible food. Coffee was great but we got the avi scramble and worker bee. The portions for 14-15 dollars were terrible. It’s like a small palm of eggs and then toast. The eggs have a terrible texture to them. They’re wet saggy and slimy. It’s gross. Way too much money for what we got. I don’t know how they have great reviews like this. Genuinely. Overhyped and overpriced.

I'm not sure how this place has a 4 star review.
Everything came out cold. I ordered the worker bee which is a very simple dish. Eggs were cold. Sausage had the consistency of leather, toast was borderline stale. The potatoes tasted like they roasted them the night before and then heated them in the microwave.
The only thing that saved this place was the espresso I had before the food came out.
I personally would avoid this place if you like your breakfast hot and fresh. I hate to put down places that support local farmers but boy I think Denny's would have been the better choice this morning.
That being said, this place is busy so maybe I just got a bad dish.
