As always, the food was superb! The octopus was out of this world. Everyone had a different pasta and all were outstanding and the large grilled beef was perfectly spiced and grilled. All of the sides like the potatoes and broccolini were divine. Sotto is the best restaurant in Cincy!

Sotto never disappoints. We made an early dinner reservation and had a wonderful, leisurely dinner. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and funny and our food was outstanding. Unique ambiance with creative and delicious food; wonderful in all respects.

I have a long history with this location and restaurant. Loved it where it was LaNormandie, many fond memories. Also have been to Sotto numerous times. In the last year, I have noticed a decline. Servers with their prepared series of questions—Have you dined with us before? I will explain the menu in detail, Do you have any allergies I should be aware of. So irritating and trite! The noise level is through the roof. I don't know how any one can converse. Last time I was there they turned it down somewhat when asked but turned it up again an hour later. I MUST ASSUME THE MUSIC LEVEL IS GEARED TO THE STAFF'S CHOICE NOT THE CLIENTELE. It will make me think twice about going again.

As always food/service was excellent. My only negative is lightening and noise level. As a senior the lightening is just dangerous. Steps are the worst, and reading a menu impossible. Noise level is such that dinner conversation is impossible.

The ambiance was romantic and sexy. The service was excellent and prompt. The food was delicious and timed out perfectly. Tasting everything made me feel like I was back in Italy again! We had the tartare, short rib pasta, and wild boar pasta. The dessert cocktails with the ricotta donuts were the perfect ending to our experience. Cannot wait to return to try the rest of the menu and repeat a couple of these bites!

Wonderful experience! We had an amazing dinner. Everything has such depth and amazing flavor. The goat cheese appetizer was so unique and delicious. The primavera was the best salad I've ever had, so much texture and the vinegar was perfection. Everything is spot on, the service, the portions, the atmosphere. Just outstanding.

It was quite dark, but our eyes adjusted and the music was loud at a few points. However, neither of those detracted from the amazing food.
