Steak 'n Shake (Temporarily Closed)

Don't really care for their food it's too bland.

I am convinced that this is the worst Steak ‘n Shake in the history of the franchise with the worst waitstaff on the planet. It's right at the top of my list as one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. You should go to another Steak ‘n Shake to see how it's done. They have your burger prepared correctly with the crispy edges.If you look up travesty in the dictionary, a picture of this place is next to it.

Great service and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The service is fast and accurate. Great place for either a quick bite to go, or to just sit, relax an enjoy ur meal with family and friends. Great location as well, many stores and shopping centers located around and near. Take a break from shopping, get a bite to eat here, and then go back shopping.

Went on a friday night , which we thought was pretty risky , but the staff was really on-point. Hot food, friendly service, and we could clearly see the young manager running around making sure everything was okay with all the other customers that were there. If they could keep this up, one of the best steak n shakes. Straight up.

The WORST service. Cold food, probably because we had to send the waiter back numerous times to get food that he forgot to bring the 1st 2nd and 3rd trip. Not necessarily a rude waiter but not friendly either. None of this is a surprise as its been a similar experience every time we've been in this Steak N Shake over the past several months. I only go here at all because i work nearby but proximity is no longer worth it. I'd rather drive to the Oakley location or just stop eating at all of them period.

This is what we got served at the Stake and Shake in Middletown drive-thru. Mushroom and Swiss with no mushrooms and BBQ Bacon Burger with one quarter strip of bacon and NO BBQ sauce. Uhhhh, not good.

no ice, no chili, no Cole slaw, no baked beans and won't prep any at 7pm because they close at 10. so basically I got warm pop sandwich and cold fries.

3 stars for room temp food and fries that looked like they had been cut with scissors for a toddler. They were too small to dip in ketchup up without things getting messy. 5 stars for our attentive and kind waitress even during a packed lunch time.

We were there a bit after 2 PM, the 4 meals 4 items for 4 dollars was a steal. Three of us went for lunch today, Food was hot and tasty, the most surprising thing was how soon we got our foods. We quit going to S&S many years ago, because the constant long wait on our foods and lack of services. Our waitress today changed all those bad feelings today. The cookie was delicious.

Service was better than usual. Food is always great. Unfortunately I only get 30 minutes for lunch. This was about an hour and 15 minutes. Lucky my boss is leanient. I'll still go back. Check them out. (No promises)

It’s 4:05am and my husband and I walk into the dinning room and stand at the sign that says “Please wait to be seated”. The dinning room is empty with the exception of an employee LYING ON a table asleep with a half eaten burger on the table beside him! Service was awesome! Food was perfect. I think that this steak n shake was better than any of the other ones around my area.
