I am convinced that this is the worst Steak ‘n Shake in the history of the franchise with the worst waitstaff on the planet. It's right at the top of my list as one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. You should go to another Steak ‘n Shake to see how it's done. They have your burger prepared correctly with the crispy edges.If you look up travesty in the dictionary, a picture of this place is next to it.

Great service and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The service is fast and accurate. Great place for either a quick bite to go, or to just sit, relax an enjoy ur meal with family and friends. Great location as well, many stores and shopping centers located around and near. Take a break from shopping, get a bite to eat here, and then go back shopping.

Went on a friday night , which we thought was pretty risky , but the staff was really on-point. Hot food, friendly service, and we could clearly see the young manager running around making sure everything was okay with all the other customers that were there. If they could keep this up, one of the best steak n shakes. Straight up.

The WORST service. Cold food, probably because we had to send the waiter back numerous times to get food that he forgot to bring the 1st 2nd and 3rd trip. Not necessarily a rude waiter but not friendly either. None of this is a surprise as its been a similar experience every time we've been in this Steak N Shake over the past several months. I only go here at all because i work nearby but proximity is no longer worth it. I'd rather drive to the Oakley location or just stop eating at all of them period.

This is what we got served at the Stake and Shake in Middletown drive-thru. Mushroom and Swiss with no mushrooms and BBQ Bacon Burger with one quarter strip of bacon and NO BBQ sauce. Uhhhh, not good.

no ice, no chili, no Cole slaw, no baked beans and won't prep any at 7pm because they close at 10. so basically I got warm pop sandwich and cold fries.
We were there to eat dinner on Saturday night. Even though there was only one other family dining in, we had to wait 6 min before any employee even acknowledged us and sat us at a table. We made eye contact with several employees before anyone came up to us and were just ignored. When we were done eating, we had to wait a really long time before we even saw our server and were able to ask for our check. We waited another 10 min before we had to get up and find our server and ask again for our check. Once we got our check, we went to the front of the store to pay, but again, no one acknowledged us so we could pay our bill and leave. We were incredulous. There was a man (not sure if friend or employee) sitting at counter with his head down on counter. While we were waiting and waiting for someone to ring us out, an employee came up and looked at us. But instead of cashing us out, he proceeded to pour water on this mans head over and over again. I said excuse me? And he looked up. I asked if this was where we paid and he said yes.. then went back to pouring water on this mans head. It was outrageous. We finally were able to track someone else down to help us pay our bill so we could finally get out of there. It was a horrible experience and we will never be back. This store has the worst customer service of any restaurant I have ever been in. I would be surprised if people didn't just walk out without paying their bill... you shouldn't have to wait 30 min total trying to get someone to take your money to pay your bill.

3 stars for room temp food and fries that looked like they had been cut with scissors for a toddler. They were too small to dip in ketchup up without things getting messy. 5 stars for our attentive and kind waitress even during a packed lunch time.

We were there a bit after 2 PM, the 4 meals 4 items for 4 dollars was a steal. Three of us went for lunch today, Food was hot and tasty, the most surprising thing was how soon we got our foods. We quit going to S&S many years ago, because the constant long wait on our foods and lack of services. Our waitress today changed all those bad feelings today. The cookie was delicious.

Sign out front says now open 24/7. Showed up at 10:55pm to get a milkshake and they said that they are closed! I've had multiple bad experiences with this place, but I kept coming back because I love milkshakes and they are right up the street. Won't be coming back this time.

at the drive-through extremely unfriendly rude person took my order. Pretty much just threw it out the window to me after I waited for 20 minutes for one hamburger. There's no way this place is going to stay in business- The only place worse than this is the Steak 'n Shake in Florence.
