Stone Bowl Korean & Ramen Restaurant

Food was decent, but the portions were shockingly small. I got a rice bowl, and it was as filling as an appetizer would be (I spent $23 on said bowl). Would highly recommend going somewhere eles if you are hungry.

This place is great! Drove by it a million times and I'm so glad we finally stopped. The food was great and the service was incredible. Free ice cream sandwich at the end was a real cherry on top. Will definitely be back

Very cute and yummy spot. Seemed like it was just a one man band with the chef-owner taking care of everything. Even with multiple people coming in in quick succession we still go our food very fast. A very nice and authentic dolsot bipimbap experience.

So glad we were introduced to this gem of a place! The owner, who also cooks all the food and serves the customers, kindly taught us how to make our stone bowl. He frequently checked on us and made sure we all had enough food offerings (free dumplings too!). To top it all off, his humor warmed our night! Everyone should definitely visit! ❤️

We found this place on our way through Cincinnati. We were looking for a quiet, homey place that served real Korean food. This was the perfect option.

We were his last customers on a Sunday night, but he was friendly and didn't rush us. We ordered by scanning the QR code at the table. There is a call button if we had any questions or needs. This is the same way it is done in Korea, and was nice to find here. It lets him be attentive and responsive, but he was never just hovering, or interrupting our conversation.

The food came out quicker than I expected. We had the crispy dumplings. They were the best I have ever had. I got the beef stone bowl and it was lovely, fresh and HOT. I got to add my sauces to make it as spicy as I wanted. My daughter's pork belly ramen hit the spot for her.

We got to chat with the owner a little after we ate. He generously gave me some tips on making my own kimchi and I asked a lot of questions. I gave him a fresh Korean Melon (참외) that I had scored in Chicago that morning for his extra time. I had bought a whole box because it is hard to find, so I had plenty to share. He gave me tips on preparing it too and gave us gifts in return in appreciation. Korean hospitality and service is top notch!

I live three hours away, but will make a point to come back!

My family and I were staying for a night in Cincinnati and found this absolute gem. The Stone Bowl was truly amazing! The owner was friendly and helpful, teaching us how to finish the stone bowl cooking and how best to eat the food. Long after leaving we all commented how the flavors stayed with us and how delicious it was.

If you are looking for a Korean restaurant, look no further!
