Sweets & Meats BBQ Catering and Food Truck

Canceled our order through Door Dash 15 minutes before it was supposed to be delivered. Family and friends waiting to eat to eat and NO food! We placed this order three days prior and reasoning was “unavailable “. Plan better! Won’t be ordering again. Love to support small and local but only if they communicate and deliver. All you had to do was celebrate the day before, not 15 minutes before delivery time.

Food was good but administrative team lacks integrity. Had I placed a review for this business in the past I would have given 5 stars, but an incident occurred that they were at fault for. A contract was signed and there was an error in billing. No contact was made about the error and the business decided to modify the signed contract without notifying me. After making the modification, they opted to take their payment from the card on file. When I attempted to pay them with a different form of payment on the pickup day, I was told my account was complete. After further review, I discovered the credit card charge that was higher than the contractual amount. I reached out to the business using one of the phone numbers they had used to contact me in the past and no response was given. I filed a dispute via AMEX for the difference of the balance and the business reached out a month later with an abundance of questions. I addressed the questions but didn't include attachments. The owner was adamant that no errors had been made on their part. I responded with the initial signed contract, refuted that no calls had been made but an email thanking me for my payment and no response to my inquiry. Had the company just called me to discuss the error, not taken an unauthorized payment form my corporate card and owned their mistake all would be well. Now things are not. On top of this they mentioned another event, that I was affiliated with and how payment was not received. Yet failed to mention that grace was given for the payment and when the other group attempted payment the drop off was cancelled due to the owner being sick. A little integrity goes a long way!

We have the Sweets and Meats BBQ truck come to our office as a thank you to our staff multiple times, and the food is terrific! The staff is always friendly, and the Strawberry Crunch cake was divine! I would recommend the collard greens, brisket and mac and cheese.

The Sweets & Meats BBQ team showed up on time with smiles on their faces! The food was displayed beautifully with careful consideration at every step. Not to mention, it tasted delicious! We hosted about 150 guests and had plenty of food. The process from start to finish was very positive.

Sweets & Meats just catered my wedding sept. 2024 wedding!! They went above and beyond in every aspect. Guest raved about the food, and their catering team was so kind and helpful. We had a different caterer drop us 2 months before the wedding, as you can imagine I was stressed. Last minute we found Sweets and Meats and they made sure everything was taken care of and made the entire planning process was smooth and stress free. It was a tremendous blessing!!!
If you are looking for a professional caterer that goes the extra mile, and has the best BBQ in town; you have to go with Sweets & Meats! I can't thank them enough!!

We have loved sweets and meats for many years, but we just recently hired them to cater our daughters rehearsal dinner and they knocked it out of the park. They have exceptional service, and exceptional food! We will definitely be using them in the future, but in the meantime we will settle our cravings by visiting their new restaurant by Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Got 1 pork and 1 chicken sandwich with greens and mac. Haven't tried the sandwiches yet, but they look delicious. Gotta say the greens were better than expected. A tad bit salty but the red pepper did well. The mac was seasoned well but maybe a bit too oily. Overall, the food was good and I'd go again

This was absolutely delicious! The food truck catered my work event. The options on the menu were pulled pork, chicken, and jackfruit sandwiches; mac & cheese (absolutely divine, like I made it myself), (very well seasoned in flavored), and coleslaw. It was perfect. I look forward to visiting the location myself.

Sweets & Meats was a hit for our teens at Queen City Youth Development! One might say silence is golden, but our teens silence was only receipts that the grub was delicious! “Those baked beans hit Coach O” one teen said! “Naw, that Mac and Cheese slammed,” said another. Personally, I mixed the pulled pork with the pulled chicken and grubbed!! What an awesome place! Thanks Sweets & Meats!

We used this company for a corporate event we hosted. The food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely keep them in mind in the future

The food truck was a hit for our medium sized wedding reception, around 80 guests. Office staff was great with the planning, team arrived on time & efficient.
Food was top quality, looked good, tasted good. Would recommend or use again.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL FOOD!!

The team at Sweets & Meats BBQ is amazing and the food is even better! We had a small party and picked up the FEAST package and two racks of ribs and our guests couldn't stop raving about how incredibly delicious everything was. We discovered Sweets & Meats by grabbing some sandwiches from the Food Truck - SO GOOD! You won't be disappointed, the people and the food is the best. Thank you Sweets & Meats for everything!

Had the brisket sandwich, collard greens and mac and cheese. Something was wrong with the brisket. I immediately didn't feel well after I ate 1/2 of it. The bun was stale and the meat didn't have much smoke to it. Rough first experience.

Sweets & Meats made what could have been a complete washout of a party such a success. Helene came through and dumped an onslaught of rain on our company picnic, but they proactively called nearby shelters to attempt to move the party indoors, and were ready with a slew of options to pivot our planned event. They really went above and beyond working with us to make this come together rain or shine and not only was everyone raving about the food, but they kept saying how amazing the service was! They really made a point to ensure everyone was taken care of, and we were just impressed by how calm and present they were, too. So many food trucks have a hustle and bustle vibe—which normally we think nothing of it— but Kristen was so calm and conversational the entire time, pitching in everywhere she could. It’s not hard to see why they come so highly recommended, we really enjoyed having Sweets & Meats, and couldn't have done it without them. We look forward to having them at our next event!
