This is a very cool historic hotel where each room is themed after a composer. The location was unbelievable, and the area seemed very safe and walkable. The issues we had were: AC unit did not work properly, forcing us to open the window. This made it difficult to sleep with the noise. The mattress needs updating, it was very uncomfortable, as were the linens. The floor underneath the bed was absolutely filthy (I dropped something).
I came in town to watch Inter Miami CF play semifinal soccer match. Located close to stadium. Garage next to stadium. Room was beautiful. Melissa was helpful with info and local tips and overall friendliness. Was an amazing stay. Nice rooftop area with benches and a fire pit was amazing after the playoff match. Will 100% use this place again for Dolphins or Herons games.
Thank you so much!!!!!
Such a cool old building, so nicely decorated. Late 1800s architecture, 4 meter ceilings, antique furnishings. And a great restaurant downstairs. Importantly, the price fits my budget. This whole neighborhood is in the process of becoming quite trendy. I plan to stay here again on my next visit to Cincinnati
If you need a hotel in Cincinnati and you don’t stay here, you will miss out. This place is beautiful - a romantic old building that has been cherished and updated. The rooftop patio is clean and comfortable and private. The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean, and convenient. The restaurant is crowded on the weekends, so plan ahead and get a reservation. The service is excellent, and the rates are reasonable. All this, and your car will be safe in a garage lit by chandeliers. Thank you!
The kindest of staff, great location and dedicated historical decor
This boutique hotel is a piece of art from the lobby to the rooms. Check in was easy. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Parking garage is worth the extra money if you want high security parking. Located centrally.
No one ever showed up to check us in. This is especially annoying because the hotel texted me asking what time I'd arrive, and I gave an (accurate) 30-minute window for our arrival, even though we were driving 350 miles that day before arriving. Showed up in our arrival window, and there was not a single person anywhere in the hotel (I checked). Texted the hotel and was told the manager was in traffic 10 minutes away. Waited 15 minutes in the empty hotel, texted asking where she was, and she said she was still eight minutes away? Like, I get it, things happen, but at least be honest about the fact that you're going to be 30 minutes late for our arrival? So unprofessional, especially when it seems like I cared a lot more about being a courteous guest (and arriving promptly) than they cared about being a host.
Bedroom was extremely hot with only one air conditioner to cool down the room. Bedsheets were like tissue paper on the top side, so very rough. Comfortable bed, clean, and beautiful room. Toilet was not connected to the floor, which was concerning. Me and my father shared the rachmaninoff room for context. The biggest problem though was the fact that our car, and another car were broken into with the window shattered. The staff tried their best to help us clean up the cars and get everything back into place. Other than letting us stay as late as it took to get things cleaned up, and a trash bag to cover the missing window, there was no other compensation. If the car wasn't broken into, I would say it to be a four star stay. Lovely atmosphere, amazing restaurant, great staff.
-Edit, they did compensate by subtracting $50 from our total bill. The window took $400 dollars to replace.
We had an amazing stay, and Worley was very hospitable. The hotel itself is extremely unique with a lot of art and architectural detail. The furnishings are thoughtful and beautiful (I appreciated that there are even chandeliers in the garage, very funny and cute!). There are tons of businesses, bars, and restaurants within walking distance, so you couldn't ask for a better location.
No soap or shampoo, no coffee, dirty dishes all weekend left in the breakfast/bar, old fruit, no restaurant, had to steal toilet paper, AC unit in our room bearing going out & squeezed all night and would only blow on the bed with a damp smell. Not was advertised & what is that sickening sweet smell coming up the stairs to our room.

This is a diamond place to go! Highly recommend. Luc was an awesome waiter and I can’t recommend enough. I can’t wait to return!
I haven't stayed there yet but I did make a reservation. This is just to warn everyone else before you do make a reservation... They charge a $50 cancelation fee if you cancel your reservation which frankly I find very lame but it is there at the bottom of their policy on their website. So... make damn sure you actually want to stay here before making the reservation because after reading some of the reviews about this place and seeing the prices of other hotels in the area I would have canceled immediately. I can understand if someone canceled the day of or within three days or so but applying this fee for someone who wants to cancel a month out seems like extortion. I may just cancel anyway... and let them keep the $50. I am not feeling like spending the rest of money with a company that does this. Frankly, I find it really irritating and it's not a great foot to start off on with a business if you are going to be using their services.
EDIT: In response to your response.
It's actually not standard. There are lots of places that do not charge a cancellation fee a month out. If airbnb can offer free cancellations up to a couple days before my arrival date for a room in someone's home - then I am mystified at the reason that you are unable to.
This is an onboarding issue... and you are making the common mistake of irritating your customers before they ever walk through your front door. Not a good impression to start with.. When onboarding a customer it's important to make it as easy and as convenient as possible. If you feel like you need to charge someone $50 to keep their reservation a month out when you are in a prime location and are such a highly rated hotel - something is amiss.
Either you aren't offering enough value with your product or service - and cant fill your 9 rooms, or this isn't about losing money due to a cancellation - like for instance - it's another stream of income for you to make off people without having to do anything.
So, no I am not taking this down. And Secondly, if you aren't going to refund my money, then you just got $50 of bad advertising and I just dodged a bullet.
Great place for dinner and Jazz
We were looking for a romantic date night and ended up booking a reservation for Vivaldi’s! It was delicious and the jazz lounge atmosphere was perfect. The lazy was lovely and food was out of this world. The meatballs left my date and I speechless. Everything we got to eat was so delicious and filled with flavor. We also got some of their signature cocktails as well and they came quick and were creative and different but so good. The staff was awesome and accommodating. We ordered cookie butter gelato for dessert (which I can’t stop thinking about btw) and the staff brought it out with a candle in it for our anniversary which was super sweet. We will be back!!
We didn't stay but walked around and it is a beautiful hotel
