We eat taco Casa very frequently as a family and we have for many years so today we came in and place a order and upon ordering they asked if I’d like to leave a tip so I left a two dollar tip just because it was a rather large order, even though their job is to make my food and put together my order and there is really no reason to be tipping. However, you could tell that the woman working really could’ve cared less to be there and acted bothered by our ordering. She then proceeded to get our order wrong, and then acted more annoyed that it was incorrect. After she brought the food back up to the front desk, she didn’t say anything and just set it down and walked off, so I said to “her hey is this the rest of my order or it will there be more?” She gave me a very dirty look and say “yes this is your order” with a complete attitude and demeaning look on her face. Her attitude makes me not want to return, and to be honest the food is also gone downhill as well. If you don’t like your job, then quit but do not be rude to people who even tipped you on an order they didn’t need to be tipped on.

Truthfully it is a bad location to pull out of I don't understand why the owner chose this place. The Tuna boat that I purchased was not as good as the one I purchased in Hyde park location it was very doughy & exceedingly salty relatively gross I doubt I will be back.

I wanted the original taco salad that I remembered from years ago. Found this location and ordered two for carry-out and was not disappointed. It tasted just as good as I remembered and I enjoyed every bite.

I have been eating at Taco Casa for almost 50 years starting with the Erie Rd. store. For that entire half century, the food and the expectations have never been changed. Not until now. I went there last week and ordered what I always order. 4 or 5 hard shell tacos. The taste was the same but the volume of meat, cheese and everything that goes in the tacos was no more than 1/4 the amount they have always used for 50 years. I could close the taco shell at the top without breaking shell there was so little ingredients. The amount of meat was no more than a teaspoon and cheese was barely visible. I asked the server why things have changed so dramatically, but they did not know or for that matter, seem to care. It was unbelievable. When I spend $15 on lunch, I expect to not be hungry afterwards. So disappointed that I doubt I will come back.

If people want to tip they will... asking them if they want to makes it feel mandatory (and uncomfortable).Updated: Somehow the service has gotten even worse. It wasn't busy. I could see my food ready sitting on the counter in the back. Slower than it's ever been... And that is saying something. Also, once again don't ask for a tip. Not sure I can ever go back to that location.
