They have the stupidest lunch special, comes with a drink but if you get it to go they won’t give you a drink despite having 20oz sodas available to go??? super cheap of them…there’s a reason I continue to take my business to other, new establishments because they’re out of their minds and not consumer first

The fact that we paid $23 for this is insane. A small pizza and a Caesar salad...no where near enough to feed two people. Go somewhere else if you're looking to fill your belly!
Also, they only offer a small and a large pizza...which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. We ordered small since it's only two of us.
The pizza was very good at least!

I’ve always loved Taglio - they were extremely underrated years ago, and it’s amazing to see what they’ve grown into. 3 years ago I found out I had celiacs, and was no longer able to eat wheat. When the Gluten Free crust came out I was incredibly excited.
On a very busy Halloween night, we ordered a gluten free pizza and they did fail to note which pizza in the order was gluten free and unfortunately no one could tell the difference. We called, and Taglio was kind enough to re-make the pizza and deliver it to us. The customer service experience was great, especially on a busy Halloween night, allowing me time to eat and to get to take my kids trick or treating.

Editing my review to say that we always loved Taglio and it was our favorite pizza in the city by far! We did have a bad experience this last time, but one of the owners contacted me directly and really made it up to us. Issues are inevitable in a restaurant and it’s great to know that management will take care of you when things go unexpectedly. Food is our comfort and it goes a long way to be treated with kindness and respect. Thanks again Taglio team. Class act.

We had gotten the Hot honey pepperoni pizza, and it was absolutely great even after reheating it the next day for leftovers!

First time a dining here - we met up with friends during lunch. we all got individual pizzas. I got the margarita and it was perfect. I loved the thin crust. The sauce was delicious. The cheese was perfect. The basil was fresh. It was a pretty perfect personal size pizza. It was a real treat for me.

We ordered a large build-your-own pizza with four toppings, and while the flavor was good, the value just wasn’t there. For a pizza this expensive, the amount of toppings was surprisingly skimpy, maybe five small pieces of sausage for $5, and about one banana pepper per slice. Even cheese and sauce aren’t included in the base price, which made it feel like we were paying a lot for very little.
It’s a shame because the crust and overall taste were solid, but when you build your own pizza, you expect to see and taste your toppings. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the cost, so we’ll likely look elsewhere next time.

Love this place. You will too. We tried the rather hard to find deep dish pizza- called Detroit Deep Dish at Taglio. Excellent. The craft beer choices were good, service excellent. Even the small Caesar side salad was very good.

Had a quick bite to eat before the Toto, Men at Work & Christopher Cross concert last Sunday. We were in a hurry but not too much.
We all ordered drinks and a large Detroit style pepperoni pizza with hot honey and it was GREAT! Nina our server was very helpful, fun, friendly chatting with us for awhile- she even went out of her way to help us find some black napkins to play a game while we waited for our pizza… My Miller bottle was also almost ice cold- great! We got our check right away, we devoured the pizza- I highly recommend this pizza and this location was on top of things…lots of happy patrons and tables of mixture of group sizes, etc.. all were having a nice time.
Thank you! And the pizza hit the spot for the concert- just wish that I had another one waiting for me in the car after the concert👍

Firstly, Taglio is my favorite local pizza joint. B.) This time, I was picking it up for some business partners, not for myself. After they ate, I asked them for a review compared to other pizzas they've had in the area. One of them said the Detroit style was THE BEST pizza they've ever had.
Would I recommend, absolutely. 💯
