This is hands down the best place to eat in Cincinnati. The tortilla chips are the best I have ever had. The food is always delicious. The service is phenomenal. Every time we come to see a show at the Arnoff, it is our go to dinner.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the United States in this area; great chef and excellent service!
Customer service is some of the best in the city. Sit at the bar ask for Randall if he's working. Guy is amazing.

We love this restaurant. The food is excellent and we love how hard the folks work, yet are always pleasant. Love to support a business like this.

THE RESTAURANT INSIDE WAS GORGEOUS, BUT HE STOOD THERE FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE WE EVEN KNEW WHERE THE REGISTER WAS TO PICK UP AN ORDER! POOR SERVICE. AND THEN ON TOP OF IT, WE ORDERED THE BBQ, AND THIS WAS UNLIKE ANY OTHER MEXICAN BBQ WE HAD EVER GOT! IT WAS IN TINY CHUNKS. AND TONS AND TONS OF NOTHING BUT FAT!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE BBQ HERE!. ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICES THAT THEY CHARGE!. NO THANK YOU, I WILL STICK TO THE OLD FASHIONED MEXICAN RESTAURANTS, NOT THE UPPITY UPITY ONES!

Probably one of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food tasted old and was completely dried out — like it had been sitting for hours. No flavor at all, just bland and disappointing. It honestly felt like they didn’t care what they were serving. Total waste of money, and I wouldn’t go back even if it was free.

I have been to Taqueria Mercado so many times. It is my local Mexican Restaurant and has been for 15 years now. The reason I finally thought to write a review is because today I was there for a busy Friday lunch service and they were having their soda machine replaced (switched to Pepsi for financial reasons). This also meant water and Iced Tea were affected. They gave all their bottled soft drinks (don't worry, they still have bottled Mexican Coke) and fruit juice based drinks for free. I had a hibiscus juice and it was good but I don't prefer sweet or carbonated beverages, so I'll admit I was not really happy but for one of my loved neighbors, I took it in stride. By the end of our service the manager had gone to Kroger and bought several cases of bottled water because he realized that problem. The food was great as always. Cheese enchiladas with red sauce are my favorite. Special Mercado (chicken and rice with cheese sauce and tortillas) when I need all the comfort food. But today I had a chicken taco as part of my combo and it was amazing. This is a business that cares and deserves your business.

Good , friendly service. Excellent food , reliable , consistent. I've enjoyed the chicken soup, its a large bowl for $9.99 and a value even if you can't finish it!

Delicious food! I love fresh fried chips. Their salsa with the chips were fabulous. I ordered Camarones a la Diabla. It was perfectly spicy!
