Amazing restaurant with so many quality recipes and dishes made with quality ingredients. If you’re feeling like exploring the menu and trying something new, stay away from the meatballs! Extreme disappointment! Very surprised this restaurant would serve an item of such low quality. This should be scrubbed from the menu. Just get rid of it. Meatballs in the frozen section of a grocery store are far better.
Love this restaurant!
I guess this will be the next taste of Belgium. Location to close. walked in at 10:55a and walked out at 11: 10a without having even been greeted by a server.
The restaurant was approximately 20% full and we saw at least five servers standing around the back station.
The hostess was too busy texting and looking at her phone to say say goodbye as we walked out the door.

The hand held grilled chicken sandwich was very tasty. Loved the mayo, cheese, lettuce tomato on it. However, the ciabatta roll seemed so tough....not sure if it was a little stale, or that ciabatta was the wrong type of bread for this sandwich. Would have liked a big croissant or a Kaiser Roll.

My husband and I visited Taste of Belgium for breakfast after we sampled their food on the Sites and Bites tour from Riverside Food Tours. Their waffles are fantastic and so unique. We learned from the tour that they use a dough rather than a batter to make them, so it is much heavier and denser than most waffles. They also use pearl sugar, which makes the waffle naturally sweet and syrup is unnecessary. We had also tried goetta on the food tour and I wanted to have it again, so I got the breakfast platter with goetta and a waffle. My husband ordered the Over the Top Waffle, which was delicious too! We also took home a few packages of waffles to give to family and friends (and some for ourselves)! We would definitely come back here. The service was great!

It is just an outlet for their bakery located downtown cincinnati. My expresso came from a vending machine. The food was absolutely horrible. The French fries were died, no life in them. They were mushy!! Everything tested like it was heated in the microwave. The place is real noisy and service is not there. They didn't know which table to deliver the food and no condiments on the table and after I asked for it from my server, she never ever brought it back to me. Also, the belguim waffles that they are famous for, tasted like they were bought at Kroger, real old and tasteless. I see the reply from the restaurant management and I challenge him to share the espresso machine picture form the Mason location and compare to a Starbucks machine. However, I said the espresso came from a vending machine and not from a real espresso machine!! I don't care what Starbucks has, all I care about is a real cappuccino that is made perfectly with whole milk froth!!!! So my rating is now lower than the original comment I had!

The best waffles I have ever had. They even have to-go packs of waffles. Tried their wrap, waffle and egg and turkey sausage. Personal favorite breakfast place in the city. Can I also say that we wiped the plates clean ✔️✔️✔️.
Wish I could go every weekend?

Drove by and saw a kitchen worker relaxing out back. Parked and entered and the place was beautiful. There was an employee talking to a customer, and no other guests.
We waited for the employee to notice us. During that time 3 other people entered the dining room, made eye contact and turned away. One of them seemed to be a manager, and looked up at us twice.
No one said a word.
We went back to the car, pulled up Maps and found a different restaurant (that was amazing). But that’s another review.

Jen, Ryan and Ricky were so much fun. What great attitudes and service. It was our first time ever to Taste of Belgium and we really enjoyed everything. The beer was the best we have had in over a year. Chimay on tap was a great surprise! Thank you all for a great evening. We will be back!!!

Loved it. Good food and great service. Split a flight of the TOB beer, and the pretzel and bier cheese. She got chicken and waffles; and I did the hot brown. All very good!

We came today because the food is excellent. We waited over ten minutes and despite seeing five wait staff members no one came to our table so we left without even ordering drinks.
This is the second straight time we’ve had a bad experience with service so we don’t need to come back.

Disappointed in our brunch yesterday. Have been to taste of Belgium in the past and it's always been good but unfortunately this time it was not. The only real positive is that they were able to seat us early for our reservation. Even though it didn't appear to be overly crowded we had to wait 30 minutes for our food and then it wasn't correct. It was lukewarm at best. I ordered the Nati crepe which was supposed to have a fried egg. However no egg at all. My husband ordered the waffle Benedict but the egg was so undercooked he couldn't eat it. The arugula on his plate appeared fried out and wilted. It didn't look appetizing at all. Don't think we'll go back
After being seated, we waited 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. The food was good. My Bloody Mary wasn't made correctly and tasted awful. I asked for a side of tomato juice to try to make it taste better and was charged for it. I was a little annoyed by that considering it wasn't made correctly. I don't know if they were short staffed but the service could've been better.
We had a wonderful time at Taste of Belgium-Fields Ertel. We went for the all you can eat mussels and they were great. While our first two choices were a little spicy, we were able to choose the other two and they were perfect. Our service was fantastic and we would return in a minute
