While the food was good here, the overall experience was poor. It really is a shame because we've been to this restaurant before and while it was busy, we have always been treated well, however this visit was horrible. I have never been treated so rudely by a server. We went right before a concert, our reservation was at 6pm. This should have been plenty of time to make it to music hall by 7:30pm. The service was slow which was okay because they were busy, however after an hour of waiting on food, we were still waiting on our entree. Eventually, we had to approach the waitress and ask for the bill so we were not late for the concert. The waitress was terse, accused me of being aggressive even after I apologized, and then yelled at me in the restaurant for asking her to take the entrees we didn't receive off the bill. The experience has left a sour taste, and unfortunately I don't think we will be dining here again.
One of our favorite places to have a date night; we go a little early and generally have awesome luck with parking (usually right across the street, no more than a block away). Food is always delicious, and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. Service is always fast too, and the place has an amazing chill vibe-you can go with a suit or with shorts and a t-shirt, doesn't matter.
I had a reservation for the bar however all the seats were taken. While I was happy to wait, the staff seated me at a table, telling me that because I had a reservation, they wanted to honor that. This is the kind of service (and the food was wonderful) that will ensure that I am a repeat diner at Teak.
Very loud, food was too salty, waitress was rude

We visited for the first time yesterday and were amazed at the food. My cocktail was perfect (Watermelon Martini) and then we started with 2 sushi rolls. They were the most unique and flavorful rolls I've had in years. then we had the Jungle Noodles—Outstanding. The biggest shock was how reasonable our bill was for a meal so well prepared. Only small reason not 5 stars across the board was it could be a bit dimmer, not in love with TV's showing news when out on date night, music makes better ambiance. Can't wait to come back though.

As a subscriber to a nearby theater, I dine at Teak quite often, at least once a month, and I have for years. I usually have as many as five or six in my party. The food is fine, as is the ambience, but the main reason I've gone there so often is because it's walking distance to the theater. On my most recent visit, something happened that has never happened at Teak OTR before, and it made me so angry that I decided to leave a review. Neither the food nor the ambience is worth tolerating what happened. I had a reservation at 6, and my friend and I had dinner. At 645, we paid our bill and planned to finish our drinks when our server asked us if we would give up our table and move to the bar. Excuse me? 45 minutes into my reservation with no more than 5-10 minutes left in which we would finish our drinks, and you want us to get up and move? Unacceptable and unprofessional.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Cincy! Everything's great. I love the food! Ordered Crab puffs for appetizer, Chicken with coconut milk soup, Pad Thai (Chicken/Shrimp) and Massaman Curry. Everything's like a 10/10. We enjoyed it a lot!

Food was delicious, prices were reasonable for the portions. Service was quick and pleasant. Convenient location right near a streetcar stop. We will be back!
Teak has excellent food but some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The owner was upset because our shrimp was under cooked and we asked to have it cooked longer. When we still felt it was under cooked (it looked as if they put it in the microwave), we asked to change our meal. The owner was extremely rude, said he was very busy, that we had way too many modifications to our meal, and he was only servicing us to save the sale. Then he stormed off, never to return to our table. I've never been treated so poorly in a restaurant in my life. It's unfortunate, because the food (once it was cooked properly) was delicious. However, the owner was so disrespectful I do not think I could ever come back.
We were seated in the back room, which is a bit noisy and there is a constant draft. On the positive side we did show up with one more party than our reservation and appreciate that they accommodated us. The food was good, though there is no desert.

Service was a bit overbearing, asking us at least 3xs in a 15 minute span for a food orders very shortly after being seated.
